21.01.2022 Our other KT pony that left the farm last week was Kings Town Joshua, another emotional day but very happy as we couldnt of asked for a better home for Josh. Josh was purchased prior to starting and stayed with us to go under saddle and for some training. We really enjoy starting our own ponies for ourselves, or their new owners giving the ponies the right foundations to their saddle career is very important to us and makes us super proud to see them under saddle and when t...hey find their new loving homes! Kings Town Joshua is a 6 year old gelding who was purchased by Alison Burke Josh has already had success in hand with winning Best Foal of Show at the WA All Welsh Show and was shown for Champion Welsh Cob Colt at the Welsh Foal Show. Josh was going to be retained as a future dressage pony though the perfect home came along with Alison. Josh is a very talented pony that has a lot to give and we are sure Alison and Josh are going to have a lot of fun together, and a bright future ahead of them! 20.01.2022 It was a bittersweet week last week with 2 of our ponies heading off to their new homes, quite emotional! Though we couldnt of asked for better homes! They had both been purchased prior to being started under saddle, and stayed with us to go under saddle and a bit of training to give them the right foundations to start the next part of their journey. Kings Town Lord George is a 4year old was purchased by Mariaan Hattingh & Alyssa Hattingh George has already been extremely... successful in hand with winning Supreme Welsh Cob as a Yearling at the Perth Royal Show and last year was Best Welsh Gelding Exhibit at the 2019 WA All Welsh Show with Alyssa Hattingh and that is just to name a couple of his successes! He is a super talented pony who is going to have a very bright future ahead with Alyssa! 14.01.2022 So in these very strange and hard times of Covid 19, we thought wed have a bit of fun and entered a Virtual Welsh Show in the UK. Whilst we wont be able to have International Judges out to WA any time soon we thought it would be fun to enter with a few of our ponies and extra bonus they get to compete against the ponies from around the world. We entered the Glamorgan WPCA Virtual Show with Kings Town News Flash, Who won the 2 or 3 year old colt class, ... Kings Town Ima Little Lady, was entered in the Barren mare 4 years or over Which she won and then went on to be Champion Welsh Cob Overall! There was an excess of 100 entries in the cob classes and we were beyond thrilled with the results. Thank you so much to the organisers of these virtual shows and the judges Deryk Dykes & Len Bigley as well as the other judges for taking the time out of your day! It really is great to see all the cobs and to compete internationally even if it is virtual! 04.01.2022 We had the pleasure of Galliano returning home for a short while a few years ago to make an appearance in the show ring, he did exceptionally well coming away with a few champions ridden by both Paige & Lauren for different classes. He is a talented pony who will excel in any discipline being by Seawynd Sundance Kid who has won countless champions in the dressage & show ring.
