08.01.2022 John Pellegrini our 2020 Life Member John has been an integral part of the club for some 8+ years. Initially tracking his son's progress through the club, John took on the role of Auskick Co-ordinator and Canteen Manager at Auskick in the early days to get both areas back on track. Roles held as Treasurer and Secretary on the Exec committee during my tenure as President and on the Exec Committee, John more recently has been managing his daughters’ girls’ side in the fema...le football competition. Season 2020 has seen John step back into the Treasurers role which he performed with expertise and professionalism in previous years. He was key to getting the clubs finances back on track in the past and has been once again charged with this responsibility to ensure the clubs viability financially going forward. Aside from these important and varied roles over a number of years, John has always been willing to help out in any way possible for the club’s benefit. A true club person in every way, John has sacrificed many an hour and many weeks/Sunday sleep-ins during the on and off season for the Kingsway JFC members when many others have stepped back. John will be a very worthy and humble recipient of life membership to the club he loves, and satisfies all aspects of what it takes to be held in this regard. John is a great example of the community we have built over many years and the club should be proud of his efforts.
