15.01.2022 We’re excited that following the Victorian Government announcement today, Kingswim centres throughout Victoria will be reopening on Thursday 18 February. Our teams across Kingswim centres in Victoria will be ready to resume programs from Thursday morning. It's as important as ever to follow the safety measures in centre, including staying 3 platypus apart from others and sanitising your hands regularly. ... The latest message from the Victorian Government has confirmed that anyone over the age of 12 must wear a mask in our centre. As it can get warm on pool deck and will be warm over the next few days, please bring a water bottle with you and stay hydrated. Our team is working to prepare our centres and our program in time for re-opening to ensure families return to swimming safely, and happily. 12.01.2022 JANUARY FAST TRACK PROGRAM - BOOK NOW! Our Fast Track Program, as the name suggests, is a great way to fast-track a child’s swimming skills. It is a well-researched fact that a short burst of intensive learning accelerates motor skill development. Coming to Kingswim for the first time? No worries! Fast Track is open to all families, whether they are already in the Kingswim program, swimming somewhere else, or are new to swimming altogether. 12.01.2022 Following the Victorian Government’s announcement on 8 November, Kingswim Mernda is pleased to advise our program capacity will be increasing from Monday 23 November. Current government restrictions limit our centres' capacity to 20 people at any one time, but from 23 November, this will be increasing to a capacity of 50 people or 1 person per 4 square metres, whichever is less. To book a place in our newly expanded program, please contact our team at 9715 3939 or email [email protected]. Please note, our phone lines are extremely busy at this time but rest assured we will be in touch with you as soon as possible. We thank you for your continued patience and understanding during this period.

11.01.2022 The pool at Kingswim Mernda has been experiencing issues with the water heater since Sunday and we have just learned that the heater will need to be replaced entirely. As a result, unfortunately we will need to close for the remainder of Term 1 whilst this work is taking place. Due to the amount of time needed to replace the heater, Fast Track will also not be able to run as planned during the school holidays. We are very sad to close for the holidays early and not be able ...to run our Fast Track program but the heater is a vital part of our system to ensure the best and most comfortable learning environment for your little ones. All lessons missed during this period, and any Fast Track bookings will be credited to your account. This will automatically apply so you won’t need to contact us. We are hopeful that we will be able to return for regular weekly lessons for Term 2 as planned on Monday 12 April. A big thank you from our team at Kingswim Mernda for your understanding whilst we work through this issue and for all your support as we navigated returning to swimming in 2021.

08.01.2022 Over the past day, some families will have received emails from us containing confirmation of your lesson times for our first week of re-opening beginning Monday 9 November. For those families that have not yet heard from us, don’t worry. We are continuing to work through allocations for our program over the next week and will be in touch with you regardless to let you know whether we have a place available for you. 04.01.2022 We are very pleased to let you know that the capacity restrictions on our pool deck have now been lifted. This comes from changes to the Restricted Activity Directions by the Chief Health Officer for Learn to Swim schools. For our families this means that you are now able to bring siblings and additional spectators along to any of our programs.... Family members such as grandparents will now be able to come and share the excitement of watching your little ones achieve their big goals!
