25.01.2022 A reminder for families that tomorrow we have our Book Character Parade here at school. Unfortunately, parents are unable to attend due to the Covid restrictions.

24.01.2022 We will be holding the school cross country carnival on Tuesday 30th March, 2021 starting at 9.20am. All students 8 years and above can participate. All races will be within school grounds. All students must wear their sports uniform, with their school hat. If students have a t-shirt in their house colour they can wear that with their sports uniform shorts. They must have appropriate shoes for running. We are able to welcome parent spectators to our cross country event this... year. All spectators will be required to scan the QR code on entry to the school and sit in a socially distanced manner in the designated area near the basketball court. We remind all parents that we are still under Covid guidelines and ask that you stay in the designated area while the cross country is on. When the event is finished could parents/carers exit the school when asked. We appreciate your understanding during this time. See more

19.01.2022 Covid Health Updates Parents we try to keep everyone updated with all the information that is coming through from NSW Health and NSW Department of Education. Please read the information below. Flu-like symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of taste, and loss of smell. Additional information about COVID-19 symptoms can be found on the NSW Health website.... If a student has been absent due to flu-like illness or develops flu-like symptoms while at school, they are not to return to school until they have a negative COVID-19 test and are symptom-free. The negative COVID-19 test result must be sighted and received by the school for both students and staff members before their return to school. To minimise absence, schools should encourage immediate COVID-19 testing for any student or staff member identified as being unwell. This is so that they can return to school once they receive confirmation of a negative COVID-19 test result and their symptoms are resolved. Parents can provide the school with a screenshot of the text message confirming the negative test. If, after testing negative, a student or staff member has ongoing symptoms which persist beyond 10 days, they should arrange to see their doctor. The medical assessment should consider whether the symptoms are typical for that person (for example seasonal, allergic rhinitis), and provide documentation for the school if this is the case. If there are new symptoms at any time, the person should be tested again. Where a school has difficulty obtaining a COVID-19 test result, for example where a parent/carer is unwilling to allow their child to undertake a COVID-19 test or provide the school with a negative COVID-19 test result, the student is to be excluded from school for a 10 day period. Additionally, the student must be symptom free for at least 3 days before returning to school. COVID-19 testing for students with complex health or disability may be challenging. In these situations, schools are to ask the parent/carer to have their child assessed by their medical practitioner. Where a medical practitioner determines that a COVID-19 test is not required, a medical certificate must be provided to the school to confirm that the student does not have symptoms that warrant a COVID-19 test. The certificate must also indicate that the student is able to return to the school environment.
