21.01.2022 UPCOMING JUNIOR TRIALS! The summer season is fast approaching and we would love to see as many new/old faces as possible out on the court! Junior Trials/Grading is going to be held at the club on Sunday 27th August and Sunday the 10th September. Details and times are as follows:... 18.01.2022 It was a very successful winter season this year for KTC, having three teams in the Grand Final and winning all three! A very big congratulations to our Div 2, Div 5 boys and Div 2 girls for all winning premierships this winter season! Div 5 boys played a very solid season finishing top but the boys had a close win in the semi final defeating O'Halloran Hill by one game! After the close win the boys were able to play their best tennis in the final defeating McLaren Vale 6 se...ts to 0! The Div 2 girls finished fourth after a competitive season, going into the finals the girls were able to raise their level of play defeating the top team in the semi final, the girls then went on to defeat Denman in the final, winning by 3 games! After a very competitive and close season the Div 2 boys finished second on the ladder, the boys were able bring fourth their best tennis when it counted, defeating Denman 4 sets to 2 in final! Once again congratulations to our three junior teams for playing exceptionally well during the finals and making KTC very proud!

13.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We have a Fun Holiday Tournament coming up for non-tournament players held at the club. - The tournament is going to be held on Tuesday 3rd October 2017.... - Format is to be Round Robin with players guaranteed at least 3 matches. - Players will be graded by division/standard and not by age. - Players may enter one or two events (see tournament entry form for event details). - Players must be 17 years or younger by the 31st December to be eligible to enter. Entry Forms can be downloaded from http://www.kingswoodtennisclub.com.au//Tournament_Entry_Fo and must be entered by Friday 29th September (via mail or Email see entry form for details). A special thank you to Rackets and Strings for sponsoring the event. It should be a great day of tennis and we hope to see as many entrants as possible.

13.01.2022 Hi All, A few special announcements and congratulations this week! This Saturday is our end of season presentation barbecue held at the club! The event starts at 4:00pm and finishes at 7:30pm - we would love to see as many of you there. There will be presentations, court activities, kids games and prizes along with roast beef for dinner and sausages for the kids. ... Congratulations to Vittoria Peresano and Nicole Kraemer for winning the doubles in the 2018 Reade Park Grass-court Championships as well as to Sam Gericke and Sean Van Rensburg for making it to the doubles semi final. Another congratulations to Nicole Kraemer and Sam Gericke for winning the Kingswood Tournament. Both Men’s and Women’s State League teams made the first round of finals - congratulations to these teams, it is a great achievement. We wish our Div 1 Mixed Green senior and division 2 boys junior teams the best of luck for the Grand final this weekend! We would also like to congratulate the following for being the winners of the Southern Districts Tennis Tournament; Dane Habner - 13 & under boys Will Davidson - 12 & under boys Sophie Davidson - 13 & under girls Congratulations to everyone for a fantastic season!

10.01.2022 Congratulations to our Premier men's team for winning the premiership last Saturday, defeating Glenlea in a dominate display! The boys started off strong winning both doubles in straight sets, Sean Van Rensburg and Sam Gericke in top doubles winning 7-5 7-5, Patrick Klaosen and Troy Mcneil in second doubles winning 6-1 6-1. From there they continued their strong play with Jayden Pacor at number four winning his singles in straight sets 6-3 6-4 and Todd Mclean at number three... winning his first set 6-2, sealing the victory before Glenlea could gain a set! Once again great work to all the boys on their performance!

02.01.2022 On Saturday, the grand finals for Junior Girls Div 5 & Boys Div 9 were held and both teams fought for the win! Girls Div 5: Team members; Emma Brew-Bevan, Ella Hamilton, Lucy Voyvodic, Kayla Harris & Crystal Ponniah This team were minor round premiers and defeated Flagstaff Hill 5 sets to 1 set. All girls showed great fight & determination for a well deserved win.... Boys Div 9: Team members; Oliver Hamilton, Giulio Mucci, Cooper Price, Josh Downing, George He & Ben Skipp This team finished 3rd in the minor round & defeated Morphett Vale who finished 4th by 3 games in the Final. After Kingswood winning both the doubles all singles were hard fought with every game counting causing a nail biting win. Congratulations to both teams!
