25.01.2022 Please add your signature A reminder that if you haven't already to get onto this petition and sign it. The petition is from our young riders to Central Coast Council asking for sanctioned sustainable trail to be provided in our local bushland. We need all the signatures we can get

25.01.2022 Thank You David Harris for supporting mountain bikers and recognising the importance of the Kincumba Mountain to local mountain bikers.

24.01.2022 Merry Christmas & hopefully a better new year to all the crew out there. For those riding soon i have raked clean the Summit trail so go & enjoy it!! This Saturday 2/1/2021 i will be starting on the Burnt Cymbal & Missing Link. Anyone want to help out let me know. Cheers Brad

24.01.2022 Where is the level playing field? Why is one thing ok for one segment of the community but not the other? Professionally built sustainable trail is about as low impact as it gets, there is no question it is more appropriate than reinforced concrete and or compacted gravel

23.01.2022 Hi Everyone, We are holding a group ride on Saturday 15th August 1PM. There will be a A & B ride depending on how fast or hard you want to go. After the ride we will be having a few refreshments & sausage sandwiches while we talk ourselves up . Newcomers very welcome, see you there.... Brad

22.01.2022 Big day grooming more of the trails. Thanks to Penny & Stu for helping out. No need to go Tassie with nice sections like these.

21.01.2022 Thank You David Harris for supporting mountain bikers and recognising the importance of the Kincumba Mountain to local mountain bikers.

19.01.2022 MTB Feasibility study available, check it out in the below post, sounds like some usual council shenanigans, get ready to start shouting.

19.01.2022 Mountain Biking, is great for people's mental and physical health, produces great local economic results and is nature based recreation. Great comments below from Central Coast MTB Trail Alliance. Go Dungog!

18.01.2022 The most important thing you can do for MTB on the Coast! Its a bit of process but we need every mountain biker out there to please fill this response form in and to email council. You will find all the info you need on the below webpage... Thank you everyone!

17.01.2022 Bunch of young riders have a petition going to request council to support formal sustainable mountain bike trails on Kincumba Mountain. Jump on board and sign the petition, what great idea! https://www.change.org/p/central-coast-council-help-support

15.01.2022 Thank you Adam Crouch MP Member for Terrigal our recreation should not be subjected to these types of attacks. Mountain biking is a named appropriate activity in the COSS strategy so it is entirely appropriate that we use these natural spaces for our recreation.

15.01.2022 This is crazy, please be careful, someone is sabotaging trails with the intent to injure. This trap was found in Bouddi on a mountain bike trail yesterday. It is also a trail used by walkers and runners so please let anyone who uses the bush know. Time for council to step up and support mountain bikers, if council formalise trails then this type of thing is less likely to happen... Stay safe everyone

13.01.2022 This is what we need on the Coast! Imagine how good our trails would be with $3 million invested in them! Come on Council lets go...

13.01.2022 This is rad, great to see local leaders embracing mountain biking, now lets get council to formalise our trails on Kincumba Mountain. This is key to mountain biking on the Central Coast

12.01.2022 WOW! Mountain biking to be given a huge push on the Central Coast by David Harris MP in NSW Parliament. Thank you David!... Thanks also to Taylor Martin MLC and Adam Crouch as this motion has bipartisanship support, great vision and collaboration!

12.01.2022 One of our local riders makes front page of Coast Community News Thanks to Coast Community News for reporting on the issue, we are asking the pictured rider to sign our copies! In seriousness this is a dreadful thing for all trail users. Lets hope Council follows David Harris MP in backing mountain bikers right to access our natural areas.

11.01.2022 Great way to spend a Saturday Sweet local Ride, trail clean up and then wicked MTB movie night with plenty of great local riders for company Cheers Bouddi Riders Collective for a great afternoon How good is the MTB community

11.01.2022 C.C. Council has been doing a feasibility study on mountain biking on Kincumber mountain. We have received information that during the fesability study the COSS advisory group (kincumber Mtn) requested that all trails to be "removed" & compliance measures for riders found on the mountain. The board comprised of Councillors Smith, Holstein, Greenaway & Sundstrom I would like to know if any of these people have actually been to Kincumber mountain because if they had they would... have seen how many "local" people use it for recreation & enjoyment including many families with young children. Our rates & taxes are spent of many things on the Coast that are a waste of money. Kincumber mountain is enjoyed by "locals" from all over the coast & costs "nothing". We will be fighting this & will need your support.

10.01.2022 Super Important please take 5 minutes to fill in the survey: https://www.yourvoiceourcoast.com/active-lifestyles Remember in the comments to say you want to see local, accessible, extensive, dedicated mountain bike singletrail.

10.01.2022 Get that email in if you want to ride mountain bike trails on the Coast. Most important thing you can do as a mountain biker! Send an email that outlines that you wish to see dedicated mountain bike singletrail in local council managed bushland including COSS lands. Please list the type of trails that you would like to see. Reinforce that you would like to see sanctioned sustainable trails. Tell Council about why mountain biking is important and the need for local trails. ... Do it in your own words, add your contact details and your done: Email: [email protected] If you would like to make a more detailed submission there is support here: https://leonie797.wixsite.com/coast-trail-alliance

08.01.2022 Clean up your trails day! A group of mountain bikers from Kinny Mountain Riders and Bouddi Riders Collective got together last weekend to clean up some of our local COSS bushland. Its terrible to see how some people treat our natural areas. Mountain bikers pulled out a huge range of rubbish including:... 2 Toilets 4 vehicle light assemblies A rear differential 6 chairs A mattress and several large cushions 3 tyres A huge range of non biodegradable plastic. Mountain bikers love the bush and we want to ensure it is looked after and allowed to thrive. It is well known that active spaces discourage dumping and vandalism, mountain bikers are key to this. We look forward to our trails being formalised so that mountain bikers can be more proactively involved in managing invasive species and cleaning out our bushland. Lets keep those greenspaces green and encourage people to get out and enjoy the bush. Conservation begins with valuing bushland, mountain bikers value natural space, without it our form of recreation does not exist. #loveCOSS #Mountainbikerscare

08.01.2022 Amazing support thank you Adam Crouch MP Member for Terrigal. We look forward to having a fantastic trail network formalised and improved on Kincumba Mountain! People have been riding mountain bikes on Kincumba Mountain for over 30 years, we have been asking Central Coast Council to formalise our trails for nearly the same amount of time. Lets activate a great community asset!

07.01.2022 WOW (via kilianbron/Instagram, h/t ESPN UK)

07.01.2022 Top bit of press from CCMTB The more positive MTB news and the more press it gets the better. Btw: how sweet are the trails riding at the moment!

07.01.2022 Thats a great idea CCMTB Cant wait until we can do this formally to support our local trails on Kincumba Mountain. Plenty of mountain bikers are happy to contribute time and are genuinely passionate about maintaining our trails and bushland.... In the meantime jump on it and support the Ourimbah MTB Park, great facility sweet trails!

06.01.2022 Want to ride MTB in the bush then fill in the survey. Crown land is a big part of MTB's future. Heres the link: https://www.industry.nsw.gov.au//draft-state-strategic-pla

04.01.2022 Thank you Adam Crouch MP Member for Terrigal our recreation should not be subjected to these types of attacks. Mountain biking is a named appropriate activity in the COSS strategy so it is entirely appropriate that we use these natural spaces for our recreation.

03.01.2022 Central Coast mountain biking hits parliament house, that's pretty cool! Cheers Emma McBride MP Pretty keen to hear about some Kincumber trails launched in parliament next!

03.01.2022 With rumors spreading about bush walkers not happy with bike riders on the mountain, i would like to make a few comments. As a long time rider on the mountain it was rare to see many walkers. Since Covid 19 lockdown the mountain is seeing huge numbers of new people which is great as it a special place. Many of the new visitors are now walking the bike trails. What most don't understand is that these trails are built & maintained by riders, they are "not" bush walking trails. While we are happy for anyone to use them you must be aware bike riders will be on them.

03.01.2022 Most weeks I meet someone new to the mountain & either let them join in our ride or give some directions. Saturday met a young guy asking where to go & when enquiring where he was from, he quoted" Newcastle, we keep hearing how good Kincumber Mountain is so i had to come down & check it out".

01.01.2022 Kinny had some new guys riding on the weekend but where unsure where to go. They were stocked when some friendly locals showed them around. Don't know who you are but Jason wanted to say thanks.
