18.01.2022 *Proposed New Coles Shopping Centre: https://www.joondalup.wa.gov.au/16-sunlander-drive-currambi Building & Planning Click on News Go to Old News for the Sunlander Plans. (NB - the Cole Planning Justification Rpt). Up at 4am to address letters to residents who signed the petition - so many of you and I'll get to as many as I can- Can you check letterboxes - and make a submission by 11:59pm on Sunday 14 Feb - Can you share the info with friends and family. My email: [email protected] and Mob: 0405 090 091. Send me an email and I'll send my two letters today which help with Planning issues.. Coles are so sure of getting what they want that they've submitted plans that ignore a Restrictive Covenant on creating a Crossover between Connolly Drive and the Loading Bay for the delivery of goods to the store. And they've already been (unsuccessfully) to the State Planning Dept. to get the Covenant lifted. But they'll soon be ready to take their goals further. See more

11.01.2022 Thank you, City of Joondalup Planners / Submissions on the Sunlander Coles continuing for one full week: Planning Proposal Here https://bit.ly/3adjdsk (City of Joondalup Planning Applications Site) Submission form Here: https://bit.ly/3oA6S6q (contained within the Planning Proposal Site).... Responses now have to be in by 11:59pm on February.14 From the Senior Urban Planner C of J, Friday Feb 5: Hi Mary - Understanding that this week has caused some disruption for the door-knock you had planned, I can confirm that although we won’t be formally extending the consultation (i.e. resending letters, erecting new signage) the City will accept submissions received throughout next week and across next weekend for inclusion and consideration in its report to the Development Assessment Panel on the application for Coles Currambine. To facilitate any submissions that come through during this time (5/2 through to and including 14/2) I have organised for the community consultation submission form on the City’s website to remain accessible to the public during this time. Any problems with submission contact Mary on 0405 090 091

08.01.2022 There's a generalised letter coming out through the shops and I'm going to hand-deliver letters under doors with more specific help for nearby residencies (as many as possible) over the remainder of this week - See Coles Planning Justification doc on the City of Joondalup uploads for a lot of the issues that they had to address and it will help you to focus in your mind on the planning issues that will affect you. If anybody wants to pick up any of the letters from me - message and I'll leave at my door for you to pick up. Anyone with time to put under doors in specific streets - message or text me. I'm printing - putting letters together now. https://www.joondalup.wa.gov.au/16-sunlander-drive-currambi Thank you one and all. And thank you Tim Thornton, City of Joondalup Senior Urban Planner for all your help.
