15.01.2022 Come...... and be still......... in His Presence..... On Saturday, November 28th (this Saturday), from 1 to 4 pm, we will host our final Half-Day Retreat for 2020.... We will spend some of our time meditating upon God’s word in Ephesians 1-2, which says we are SEATED with Christ in the heavenly places. This means we SIT in this position in our daily lives BEFORE we walk out to serve in the community. It is another way God’s word expresses RESTING in Him - since sitting carries no weight (our ‘weight’ is carried, is IN, Christ), while walking does require us to carry our weight. In meditating on this word we will continue to build our EXPERIENCE of this position and, therefore, our transformation into Christlikeness. Come, and share this time with us at Kinsman Farm. 199 Connor Rd, Tregeagle, NSW . Phone: 0432382394 ( Wendy)
14.01.2022 Due to the wet weather we are deferring today's half day retreat ( 6th March) until a date to be advised. The Kinsman Farm team.
10.01.2022 Half Day Retreat, Saturday, 6th March. 1John 1:1 - "[We are writing] about the word of Life [in] Him Who existed from the beginning. Whom we have HEARD, Whom we have SEEN with our [own] eyes, Whom we have GAZED UPON [for ourselves] and have TOUCHED with our [own] hands." 1John1: 3b - "And [this] FELLOWSHIP that we have [which is a DISTINGUISHING MARK of Christians] is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ (the Messiah)." Here we see that fellowshipping - hearing, seei...ng, gazing upon and touching, Father God and Jesus, is what DISTINGUISHES us from all other expressions of faith. This is the apostolic relationship with Jesus the church is called to reveal. Kinsman Farm was formed in order to provide those who come to our retreats, with a place to separate from the world and move toward Father God and Jesus- in the above-mentioned ways. The Holy Spirit's indwelling and Presence always honours our seeking this distinguishing relationship, always honours our seeking this intimacy with Jesus as our first priority. A point of interest: Last year I was crying out to the Lord and the Holy Spirit revealed to me that I was needing, not just the gazing upon and the hearing, but His TOUCH of love (at a particular moment in my life). The Spirit gave understanding by saying, 'Touch is the experience of answered prayers.' We all need this touch of His love alongside the other three actions. His touch (answered prayer) is a form of 'proof' to us of His love and presence - He loves to touch us. This Saturday, March 6th, we will come together once again to seek to grow this most important of love relationships - we will seek to look upon the face of Jesus, we will seek to gaze upon our Father of Lights - and we will encourage each other in the quietness and restfulness of our common communion heavenward. Weather permitting, we will be spending some contemplative prayer and worship as the Holy Spirit leads us, beside a local creek setting on a neighbour's property. We have been given permission by the neighbours to spend time at the creek and are thankful for their generosity. Everyone is to initially meet at the home of Robert and Wendy, 199 Connor Rd, Tregeagle at 1pm. We will drive down to the creek in a 4WD vehicle. Please bring a bible, sunhat, water bottle, sunscreen and most definitely, insect repellent. Wearing joggers is also recommended. We will provide chairs and rugs. We envisage spending a couple of hours at the creek then back to Robert and Wendy's for the remainder of the afternoon, finishing at 4pm. All are most welcome. The Kinsman Farm Team. Any enquiries please ring Wendy on 0432 382 394. :)

07.01.2022 We had another special time at our Retreat last Saturday; again, the presence of the Spirit was gentle and sweet. It seems we always have thoughts on a ‘maybe’ order for the day but, at almost every retreat, as soon as we begin our corporate vocal prayer-time, the Spirit moves us spontaneously into an extended time of silence. We give You praise Holy Spirit. Here is a conversation entered into by Sandra during a time of individual meditational prayer later in the day:... ‘Come around the brook Come around My gentle breeze; Come where the waters replenish; Come where you can be renewed from the ground up to soak up the fresh waters of my Spirit, to replenish your innermost needs. I see a well which is very deep before you reach the water. It is cool and refreshing. Oh, Spirit, fall afresh on me; Anoint me - set me apart; May Your gifting flow. May the treasures of Your heart, dear Lord, be uncovered as we quieten our beings before You.’ Sandra Therefore with JOY will you draw water from the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3 Advanced notice! Our next Half Day Retreat will be held on Sat, 6th March from 1 to 4 pm at 199 Connor Rd, Tregeagle. We are looking at the possibility of holding this next retreat outdoors at a tranquil creek setting located nearby. Will keep you all posted :) All most welcome, The KF team. PS. This a photo of the creek.

02.01.2022 Every Half-day Retreat is a GIFT from GOD; He gives from heaven to each one present, as needed, and we share and are built up in love: Enfolded in love, let us grow up in every way and in all things into Him who is the Head, [even] Christ. For because of Him the whole body (the church, in all its various parts ), closely joined and firmly knit together by joints and ligaments with which it is supplied, when each part ( with power adapted to its need ) is working properly, (i...n all its functions), GROWS TO FULL MATURITY, BUILDING ITSELF UP IN LOVE. Ephesians 4:15-16. We come together to encourage one another to press on..press into keep running the race.to not let go of our preparation for glory. Like those originally in the UPPER ROOM, we WAIT together for more of the ‘RESTING POWER’ of the Holy Spirit to come upon us; the Spirit already abides permanently in us (for our growth) we come together to petition Him (by waiting) for His Presence to be upon us, for the sake of others. We recognise our poverty of Spirit, our need of more of Him in this hour in order to reach into our communities; to serve Him well. Everything we do on earth must descend from heaven. We sit in silence acknowledging this truth. This, our first Retreat for 2021, is in honour of our Father being a Father of Lights, in honour of the truth that His Light shines in the darkness, in honour of His Light being a light for our path in life, and in acknowledgement of our need to keep our lamps ‘trimmed and burning’. Amen and amen. Please join us on Saturday, 13th Feb from 1- 4 pm at 199 Connor Road, Tregeagle. Contact Wendy on 0432 382 394 if you have an inquiry. You are most welcome. Yours in Christ The KF team.
