25.01.2022 We have been very excited for some time about the lineup for the sale this year. A large part of that excitement has been because we think the 2018 drops sire team to be one of the best we’ve assembled in the now 20 year history of the stud. Here are the ASBVs and some comments on some of our favorites. Kintail Park Dohnes on Property sale Thursday 19th of September 2019

14.01.2022 Genetic Trend Report. Every year when all data for a particular age group (in this case the 2019 drop) has been received by SG and run through the analysis, this report will be generated. As you can see there is no reference to individual animals but what it does show is the progress or otherwise of a flock both in index and the main recorded trait ASBVs of the Dohne breed. ... We are very happy with our trends overall and feel the progress we are making reflects our breed objective well. For those of you that are more interested in the individual animals, stay tuned as the sale catalogue will be released this week.

13.01.2022 If anyone has any ewes they are looking to find a home for give me a call.

06.01.2022 2020 DohneTop Sire List For those of you that don’t know this is the list of the ADBA’s Top performing sires ranked on index value. To qualify for inclusion on this list a Sire must have progeny in the current year drop as well as having been used in more than one flock. This is to ensure both accuracy of figures and that an animals genetics will perform in more than one set of conditions. We here at Kintail Park are very pleased to say that as of the last analysis 7 of the... top 13 (4 of the top 6) rams on this list are either bred at Kintail Park or sired by a ram that was. For any information on how you can obtain Kintail Park genetics please contact Rhys on 0427351500 or Colleen on 0427351128. Or see us at our on property field day this Thursday the 10th of September

03.01.2022 2019 sale done and dusted. On behalf of the whole team we would like to say thankyou to those that helped not only in the setting up and logistics of yesterday’s sale but everyone that was involved in any way for the entire year. We would not be able to do this without the input of a large cast of supporters. We would also like to thank our clients for their continued support, we had 25 registered buyers brave the weather yesterday and we are so grateful that you continue to put your faith in our genetics. So the result. 99(I know that’s a block) sold of 138 offered, at an average of $1405. The top priced ram headed to Ravensthorpe for $4000.

03.01.2022 It is a beautiful day at Muresk today. Here is a shot of our dry sown cereal pasture, planted in mid-May utilising carbon pellets and worm castings as a substitute for synthetic fertilisers, being grazed by our Dohne-Merino comparison flocks post lambing.
