17.01.2022 I know ....... it is a cliche! Where did 2014 go? Interia has spent our first week back in the studio reflecting and dreaming. Our little business (we 'do' architecture and have our own line of architectural products) has been pretty busy over the past year and a bit. But we have decided to set some time aside to get passionate. And this little Kiosk is planned to be our passionate place. Don't remove your clothes just yet! There a few things that top our list of LOVES - 1. Clever People doing Amazing Things 2. Design and 3. Tasmania. So, if these subjects turn you on then stayed tuned and join us again for some damn good stuff both in the ether and on the ground. If you know of someone doing something we should know about please let us know.
16.01.2022 Tile detail, Tom Dick & Harry by Christopher Elliot Design.
15.01.2022 Over the last few months we have been building our new studio and workshop. Finally, we are in the process of getting all the 'bits + pieces'. We wanted a desk setup that could be easily adapted down the track and we have decided to go with Henry Wilson's A Joint with a yet to be decided solid timber top, legs and rails (which we will build ourselves). The A Joint is available in raw and polished aluminium or bronze and is a very clever piece of sculpture. Have a look at Henry's website www.henrywilson.com.au.
15.01.2022 12 months interest free on Simon Ancher showroom furniture! We are so pleased to be able to offer the COLLECT art purchase scheme in the studio. All applications are filled in by you, online through Arts Tasmania with a very quick turnaround. More info on our website!
14.01.2022 Last year we submitted a proposal to a Tasmanian Corporate Organisation which proposed an office upgrade featuring a large number of this Artist's works. Her name is Michaye Boulter and this is 'Deep Water'. The Corporation was all about the sea, the ports and our connection via water to other places. Our idea was to let Michaye's work do all the talking - the power of nature, the blues of the sea, the greys of the clouds, snippets of dramatic landscape and at the heart, an adventurous and determined Tasmanian spirit. The project never proceeded but I am still powerfully drawn to these absolutely beautiful paintings. @michayeboulter See more at http://tasmanianartsguide.com.au//visual-/michaye-boulter/

10.01.2022 One of our favourite Tasmanian businesses needs help jumping regulatory hurdles. Tassie would not be the same without Elgaar's organic glass-bottled milk and their beautiful European style cheese. Please check out Elgaar's Crowdfunding campaign to make necessary upgrades to the Elgaar dairy and show your support for organic local goodness. Don't forget to share as they need serious $$'s by next week! Go Tassie ..... Get MOOOOing. http://elgaarscomeback.weebly.com
08.01.2022 A beautiful exhibition that questions how we value the objects we buy and use, the time scale we give them for useful life and our basis for appreciation. http://domren.com/
05.01.2022 What about a pair of Interia His and Her Hang Ups in your choice of Tasmanian timber? These are in Myrtle.
