23.01.2022 We are, as you might expect, very proud of our wonderful students and often celebrate their acheivements. We are also blessed with a 'parent body' who join us in uplifting their children through positive re-inforcement and here is such a one. She brought in her daughter's math award from her school to show us because she is so proud of that young lady. Good on you Mum - you really are 'tip-top'! You have to be of a certain age to get that!

22.01.2022 The student selected as ‘Kip Champ’ for week seven of this term is Hannah, who once again exemplifies exactly what a Champ should be. Her Tutor writes: Hannah has been a student of mine for some time now and in that time, I have watched her mature into a conscientious worker, keen to help other students in the session, polite and well mannered and very much aware of the benefits of being at Kip McGrath. She is honest and reliable missing only one session this year. On top of ...this I see a new confidence within her as she takes on the tasks set for her to do. Well done Hannah. As the Franchisee, I would like to add to that; this is not the first ‘Kip Champ’ award that Hannah has gained this year and I am happy to point out that students are not restricted to winning only once. This is a testament to Hannah’s consistently high standard. She did not win and then sit back and think, Well, that’s that! I won! No, she moved on and kept up the high standard that she had set herself. Fabulous job Hannah. See more

21.01.2022 Kylan Sands is our Kip Champ for week 4; we are proud to award this to Kylan as she constantly strives to do her best in all areas of English. She really does embody the Kip Champ ethos of Great Attitude, terrific Effort and consistent Improvement! She has a very kind and caring personality and is always willing to help other students. She always completes the tasks she is scheduled to do and has always brought homework back completed every week. She has made great improve...ments in her learning and she is a pleasure to teach. I love working with Kylan as her first words are ‘and how was your week Lou’? She is always putting others first. She has all the attributes which make her a great student and as her tutor I am so proud of the way she conducts herself in all that she does and is a real credit to the teachings of her grandparents. Well done Kylan, you so deserve this award. See more

20.01.2022 Our 'Kip Champ' for this week is Madison from Chris' group. Chris writes: Madison is a cheerful and hard working student. She is eager to learn and always does her very best. Madison is respectful and is well liked by the other students and (of course) her tutor, Chris. Congratulations Madison! Madison, of course has fulfilled the requirements of Great Attitude; terrific Effort and making consistant Improvements in her personal achievements. I am sure that I speak for all of the staff in congratulating Madison on this achievement.

20.01.2022 Monique Newman Monique has been selected as the first ‘Kip Champ’ for this year, as we had none for the first half of the year due to the Covid19 problems. The reason for her selection is that she fulfills the criteria set by this Centre of: a) Having a brilliant attitude to everything associated with our centre including her personal studies, the staff and especially the problems arising from the current health crisis in SA. b) Always putting in her best effort to complete w...ork to the best of her abilities; effort which can be difficult when dealing with an on-line situation. c) Consistently improving in every way. Monique is always happy and polite in every dealing with this centre. Me, as her tutor, and all of the staff at Kip Salisbury congratulate Monique on this award and all agree that it is well deserved. Mike Wheatley: Director and proud tutor.

13.01.2022 We are proud to announce that Isabel has reached 'Graduation' status in our Math programme. This is an exciting time for all concerned.

11.01.2022 This week’s Kip Champ is Chayse, and this is what his tutor writes about him. Chayse has been with us for a year now. When he first came to us, he had difficulty in reading and he also had problems with phonetic sounds. We put him on an early reading programme, and he excelled; he is now on early English. He now reads well and mostly completes all tasks set for his lessons. He is a happy friendly boy and has made friends with his tuition group.... Chayse always tries to do his best and he makes a big effort every week with his homework. As soon as he sees ‘poppa’ arriving he wants to go. Well done Chayse we are proud to make you student of the week. As you can see from last week, we do not give this award out lightly and it only holds its value if it has ‘reason’ behind it. It is a pleasure to finally be able to give this award to a boy. See more

09.01.2022 Evan; we are going to miss your happy face each week, and the way you help other students if they have trouble spelling - yours is awesome. We have watched you grow in 18 months and are very proud of your achievement, we wish you lots of luck in the future, and are so happy to graduate you, as you have passed all the milestones we set - well done !

05.01.2022 The student selected as ‘Kip Champ’ for week eight of this term is Isabel. Her tutor speaks highly of her and says that: She is a polite and cheerful young lady. She has an excellent attitude to her ‘Kip’ work and this is evident every week. She is always willing to work hard. Since she has been at Kip, Isabel’s mathematical skills and knowledge have increased tremendously. In addition, she gets on well with everyone in our session and is helpful to others. She thoroughly deserves to be Kip champ this week. Congratulation, Isabel! I do not know Isabel personally, but this is indeed praise from Chris, and I am therefore positive that she is a very worthy recipient.

04.01.2022 Ava; you have been with us for one and a half years and we are very pleased to graduate you. You have grown in confidence, attended on a regular basis and completed all tasks each week, including homework. Your 'Kip' grades reflect that you have achieved above your age level. You have also been one of our Kip Champs. We are proud of your achievements and wish you well in the future. Well done! You have worked very hard to reach this leve, we will miss you.

02.01.2022 Isabelle is our Kip Champ for this week, and I am very pleased to award this to her as she is such a diligent worker and always does her best in all areas of English. Isabelle is what being a Kip Champ is all about. She has a Great Attitude, puts in terrific Effort and has been consistent in her level of Improvement! Isabelle has a lovely personality and gets on with everyone with whom she comes in contact. She is also the kind of person who is willing to help other students if they are having difficulties. Isabelle has been living overseas for some time and as such her schooling in English was limited. She is (as already stated) making leaps in her acquisition of the language and I am very proud to be privileged to be a part of her success. Fantastic job Isabelle; keep up the great work.

01.01.2022 KATHLEEN YIT Kathleen has been selected as our ‘Kip Champ’ for this past week. Her name was put forward by her Tutor and the rest of the staff considers her a worthy recipient of the award. Her Tutor says: Kathleen has been attending our centre for a while now and has graduated from an Early Reading Programme onto our Early English programme. She is a kind, quiet and polite student, who always strives to do her best and is willing to ask for help when she requires it.... Kathleen should be very proud of her achievements as I Soraia (her tutor) am proud of her. She is very worthy of the title of student of the week, and we at the centre are very proud of her efforts to improve her English. Congratulations Kathleen you are improving so much all the time. Well done. Mike Wheatley: Director Soraia James: Tutor

01.01.2022 Hannah Vidal is our Kip Champ for week six of this term. Her Tutor Soraia says: ‘Hannah is a bright, caring young lady who is always keen to do her best at Kip. She loves to tell me about her bunnies and their adventures. Hannah is always on task and helps others when it is required. She has improved her reading, writing, spelling and her comprehension levels since she has been at Kip. I am very proud of Hannah and I look forward to seeing her develop and grow’.
