20.01.2022 Maths word problems not making sense? We are here to help.

20.01.2022 Yesterday we celebrated the achievements of an absolute ripper student who has smashed all his learning goals. As he walked out the door for his last session, the team here at Kip McGrath took a moment to acknowledge how far this boy has come. It was a team effort. Great family support, a positive attitude from the student and outstanding teachers make a winning combination.

19.01.2022 Here is the answer to this morning's brain teaser!

09.01.2022 Exciting news! Following the announcement of Daniel Andrews this morning, we can return to the centre for tuition tomorrow. We can't wait to see everyone in person. Congratulations to all the students who went online at such short notice this week. We are so proud of your positive attitude and feel grateful that we can flick to online learning easily so the students can maintain momentum with their individualised programs. It was also nice to meet some extended family members and pets!

09.01.2022 Our approach to tutoring is thorough, structured and successful. We teach systematically, using our purpose built tutoring platform and written exercises, working through each concept until your child has understood and caught up to their year level.

08.01.2022 Look at the differences between a typical preschool child’s hand (left) and a typical 7 year old hand (right). Want to know why a preschool aged child isn’t a...ble to write yet? This is why! Their hands are still developing and are not fully formed. So what should they be doing to support this? PLAY!! Playdough, colouring, cutting, gluing, playing outside, digging in dirt, sensory play, dress up play, science experiments, beading, puzzles, throwing balls, etc. All of these things help their hands develop. When they are physically ready to write, they will! No need to rush them, they will show you when they are ready. Shared by Institute of Child Psychology Via @Raisingherbarefoot
