22.01.2022 Good health is made in kitchen. My rice and lentil blends are healthy, easy to prepare and only has ingredients that are natural. I have made these blends through thorough understanding of my Indian food culture. ... There’s a reason why Indians have good immune system and still one of the lowest obesity rates in the world given the population. We eat food the way should be eaten, minimal processing, in natural form and cooked fresh at home with spices and diverse range of food groups. Indian food is NOT some saucy red looking heavy food. It’s ancient wisdom where food is cooked with ancient knowledge. #veganmelbourne #plantbasedfood #indiancooking #melbournefoodie #melbournefood #ayurveda #glutenfreemelbourne #glutenfreeaustralia #veganaustralia #homecooking #melbournebusiness #handmadeinmelbourne #spices #healthyaus #sydneyfoodie #melbournebusiness

19.01.2022 A bit about me! I was born and brought up in North of India, in Lucknow and surrounding regions. My village is near Varanasi where I have spent many summer holidays growing up. My work in India before moving to Australia was in television and radio. I started working (as a side hustle ) while I was studying Bachelor of Arts with India’s biggest Newspaper (working while studying is uncommon in India). After finishing Bachelors I went to work in a popular national radio sta...tion before making move to Delhi to study Journalism and later worked with one of the most reputed news channels in the country. After that I had a calling to move to Bombay to work in entertainment and digital platform with some of the biggest production houses as producer and creative director. I met my husband in Kerala while I took some break from working and wanted to travel in my own country. Being a North Indian baby South of India intrigued me and so in 2012 I packed my bags and left and on day 2 of my travels I met him and we have been together ever since and travelled a lot around India together. My family still lives in India. I try to visit them every year. I love seeing my nieces and nephews growing so fast, and my husband loves learning hindi from them haha I have been in Melbourne for 6 years and before that lived for short time in Forster, NSW where my husband is from. I have worked in a beautiful small tea and coffee shop ever since I moved here, and have loved my work so much. As much as I miss India I do love being in Australia, I feel people in India and Australia have a lot in common about how we look at life and sense of humour That’s it for now, this post got a bit longer than I wanted it to be Hope you have a great weekend Supriya xx

08.01.2022 Happy Holi! ! I hope everyone’s day is filled with happy colours on this crazy fun day! My memories of Holi in India is getting involved in making loads of festive dishes like gujiya, matri, dahi vada, eating them secretly from days before, playing wet/dry colours on main day for hours (can’t say if I enjoy the wet colours ), taking long showers to get rid of colours, followed by afternoon nap, chai and then dressing up in new clothes and visiting neighbours and f...riends to eat more sweets and snacks! It’s days like these I miss India more than other. Oh well! Until next time, at least for now I have this cute photo of my niece loving this day quite a lot Supriya xx

06.01.2022 Spicy Masoor Dal It’s one of the original blends that we created in 2019. We wanted to make a blend that replicates the creaminess and deliciousness of a very popular restaurant Dal called ‘Dal Makhani’. ... A dollop of butter or ghee at the end of cooking this Dal takes it to another level. Someone told us once it’s the best home cooked Indian dish they have eaten in Australia.
