25.01.2022 Thank you so much Elle & Mardi Mangan (& of course Evie!) for sending us this gorgeous photo of Kirala Touch of Class (AKA TC) on her '4th' Birthday yesterday; just so sweet of you & very thoughtful...she is thoroughly spoiled!

23.01.2022 Another disease to be mindful of, with our horses & ourselves. Will have to research if cattle are also susceptible..???

21.01.2022 Had a lovely surprise visit today from Mardi Mangan, Elle Mangan & Evie with a beautiful Christmas gift made by https://www.facebook.com/embellishedequine/ in all ASHS colours, from their family & TC (Kirala Touch of Class), to ours! Thank you so much.

20.01.2022 What a sad day it was yesterday at Kirala Stud, now that it is official that we have sold Kirala Touch of Class (TC). We gave TC to Elle Mangan over 12 months ago, to show for as long as she wished on the understanding she would always be retained by us as a replacement broodmare as we had retired her beautiful & highly successful dam, Cee Dee Sonata. However, unfortunately, circumstances have changed & we offered the Mangan's the opportunity to purchase the filly, if they wished. Mardi asked if we could allow her to purchase the TC but keep it a surprise until yesterday as a surprise Xmas gift for Elle. To know she is with such a loving home home is wonderful, however, has only slightly lessened the sadness we feel....

19.01.2022 EDIT: Mare now sold to a top ASH & Performance Horse Stud; congratulations to the new Owners! We look forward to seeing her progeny in the winners circle! Many ...thanks to our many friends who shared the post for us! Outstanding quality young Heritage ASH Broodmare Having proudly been breeding Aust Stock Horses successfully since the mid 1970’s, we have reluctantly decided to no longer breed ASH’s. Therefore, we are looking for expressions of interest to purchase the highly successful Kirala First Impressions HSH Reg no. 186537 DOB 4/10/2007, beautifully bred by Lindsay from Cee Dee Sonata (by Star Black Minstril). Trained & shown to perfection by Jackie Long, this mare has been a consistent State, Royal & National Show winner in a wide range of events including Supreme at Canberra & Sydney Royals in 2012. With amazing ‘look at me’ presence, beautiful movement & conformation, complimented by athletic capabilities & cowy attitude. Only lightly bred, her three foals have all been retained & are indicative of the dam’s best traits, and include the lovely Kirala Impressive Style, Champion Yearling at the 2017 ASH Nationals & overall 4th in 2019 National Futurity ridden by Warwick Lawrence. Her last foal Kirala Minx is also following in her mother’s footsteps showing amazing athleticism & would have commenced her show career at the 2020 ASH Nationals in the 2 yr old Futurity, had it not been for COVID. K First Impressions was Vet Checked yesterday (18/9/20) by Newcastle Equine Reproduction Centre and is ready to be bred this season (report available early next week). Genuine offers from $18,000 will be considered, or $20,000 with a service to the highly sought after HSH stallion "Wallabah Excel" (this service was generously donated by Simon & Debbie Dodwell (Brooke Dodwell ) to the Do It For Dolly charity auction at last year’s ASH Nationals, & purchased by us for $2,400 in support of the auction) Please phone Graham & Margo Emery, Kirala Stud (Hunter Valley) on 0409 385667 to discuss this rare opportunity to purchase such a quality young broodmare.

19.01.2022 An interesting story about Kirala Spotlight & his then young rider Jessica Blackmore, before he was sold to Sophie Artup. Sadly 'Spot' passed away at aged 29 yesterday... https://www.eurodressage.com//jessica-blackmore-young-life
