23.01.2022 Yesterday was my birthday. Usually I'd celebrate my birthday up in the snow, a couple of days before the annual @kangaroohoppet ski race. This year is different but pretty much the same. Still in isolation, but now back in Melbourne. I decided to treat myself to one of my biggest influence in architecture - the Archigram! Foreword by Michael Sorkin. Thanks @metropolisbookshop for this amazing book. My life is now complete... well, not quite. Maybe I need a couple more Passivhaus books now. Maureen had a strong support from her family. Kudos! . If there's one thing that I could tell my daughter is that anything is possible when you're a woman. Even more so now that everyone finally recognises how awesome we are.

06.01.2022 We redesigned the internal layout of the residence to incorporate an open plan living area. The client wishes for a Hamptons Style throughout the house so this has become the main consideration when selecting the colours, fixtures and designing the joineries.

06.01.2022 Ok, we don't really share stuff about Kim K but this is worth sharing! So what kitchen would you like again? Entertaining kitchen, kitchen that you actually cook, walk-in pantry, snack pantry etc... The list doesn't end! Have a think about what you really want for your kitchen.

04.01.2022 I am still saddened by the passing of Michael Sorkin so I am posting some images from his book, Wiggle (1998). . I remembered tracing over these images, was trying to understand the urban design theories. I was trying to marry both Kevin Lynch's pragmatic theories and these erratic lines by Michael Sorkin. Heads down, pens up, tracing them lines on the yellow butter paper for a couple of weeks. Then presented them to the lecturers only to be shot down every week. LOL. But th...at didn't matter because these lines resonated in my belly. Your hand follows the whims of your heart. Well, sometimes the other way around too. Oh yes, these are all hand-drawn. The feeling of drawing these lines over and over again brought me joy. Did I mention that I kept extending the library loan on this book for the whole semester?
