18.01.2022 *Apologies if the images included in this series are confronting to viewers* I haven’t been filled with much creativity during lockdown and I was kicking myself for it because this is the most free time I will probably ever have, but in saying that I know it’s important not to put pressure and let it come naturally. I recently had a magical moment when I visualised my next image for my surreal photo series, (my Father and me) and I am so excited to share this with my lovely f...ollowing. This series is so dear to me, losing someone who meant so much to me and knowing what magic they had to offer to the world really creates a hole inside of you. It’s an indescribable feeling to lose a parent, especially because they decided they couldn’t deal with the hurting of this life. My father and I had this thing about the stars, he used to tell me such beautiful stories about the stars and space, you could say he was very curious about what goes on up there. I have the most fondest memory of him reaching and grabbing something out the air and crouching down in front of me! He told me to hold my hand out to him and to close my eyes. He had placed a tiny sparkly star cut out in my hand and said I would always have the stars in my eyes if I followed my dreams. 05.01.2022 Reborn The 2020 bush fires were fierce and powerful, leaving a lot of the landscape burnt and demolished. But almost 12 months later, just outside Cape Conran, there were all these incredible plants everywhere, over 1000’s! These grass trees captivated me and I felt a sense of peace being amongst them.
