08.01.2022 One of the requests I get most often is to share my day on a plate. Honestly though, I’m such a fan of all things food related and creating new concoctions that send my heart fluttering, that my obsessions are constantly changing! Right now the combo that has me and dreaming at my desk is almond butter, honey, cinnamon, activated pecans and pink sea salt flakes. I know, so weird for a chocoholic to be swayed like this right! But it’s so damn good, don’t just take my word ...for it. I eat it on its own, with roasted sweet potato or with apple, as pictured. It’s a great way to satiate sugar cravings while curbing your desire for more, it’s loaded with healthy fats and some protein too. And yes, when you buy activated pecans they must be sprinkled with some kind of magic because they taste so much better, it makes a huge difference! #cleaneating #nourish #snack #organic #healthy See more

08.01.2022 ~What I eat in a day~ I get many requests to show what I eat in a day. Each day looks different, but I do stick to some basic principles Typically I like to do a 16-18 hour intermittent fasting window- fasting is not about starving! I consume the same about of calories, but I start eating between 11am-12pm and stop by 6pm if I can. IF allows you to burn the calories more efficiently helping with fat loss, and helps your body with repair for longevity. ... I start my day with a black coffee or matcha green tea. I may have a bone broth before I eat my first meal. I take my supps when I eat my first meal- first meal of the day is high protein and low carbs. I then eat a high protein snack between 2-3pm (sometimes with another black coffee or tea). Dinner between 5-6pm (the earlier you eat, the healthier it is for you). 3 meals a day works best for me. I personally don’t believe 6 meals a day is right for everyone. I focus on lean proteins (mostly plant based and some seafood or eggs) healthy fat and complex carbs. I add as many greens as I can each day (a green juice or smoothie and good supplement will help you supercharge your diet and bridge the gap- I can’t be bothered chewing as many as I think we need every day! ) along with some nutrient dense colours such as berries. I usually end my day with a sugar free hot chocolate and a couple of pieces of really dark chocolate - because I’m a chocolate addict Take care with liquid calories and hidden sugars- this is where most people fall down. Black coffee and herbal teas have almost no calories. Water ZERO. Unsweetened Nutty Bruce almond milk is also very low in calories. Stick with these! Grains and dairy are not something I focus on. I have them occasionally as a treat food. I personally don’t believe they are a healthy every day addition to your diet, extra vegetables are far more nourishing and do not promote inflammation. I also do my best to get a 1 hour walk in each day with 15-20 min of strength training 4-5x per week. Or a yoga or Pilates class. I like to mix it up.

02.01.2022 Evening habits to live by for a lighter, healthier, more energised life... Eat as light and as early as possible. Eating too much too late will burden your body with too many calories and take your body away from repair mode while you sleep- the result is waking feeling sluggish and excess weight Eat from smaller dinner plates Avoid starchy carbs at all cost- too much energy for too few nutritional benefits and promote fat storage! Lean protein ... Greens, greens and more greens Did I mention green things? Pictured is simple grilled wild Australian seafood, seasoned well, and served with dairy free kale and basil pesto for extra flavour and nutrients. Took 10 min to whip up with lots of left over pesto for meals during the week See more

01.01.2022 ~The simple things in life really are the best~ Lunch looked like this today. 10 minutes. 6 wholesome ingredients. The taste of indulgence, yet so completely clean and nourishing! This is the foundation of my program. Easy. Healthy. Delicious! Did you know Mussels are low in calories and saturated fat, high in protein and essential nutrients, minerals and healthy fats like zinc, iron Vit A and B12 and omega 3. This makes them a great addition to your healthy eating regime. J...ust be sure to skip on the cream and bread unless it’s cheat day! This was so quick to whip up using my pantry staples, and they tasted so creamy without adding any dairy. Garlic, chilli, coconut cream, curry flavoured bone broth and parsley. That’s it! I also love to make a Thai version but you’ll need a few more ingredients - ginger, lime juice, kaffir lime leaves & Thai basil Clean eating can leave you feeling satiated if you’re willing to be inspired by Mother Nature
