25.01.2022 WOW! What a year 2020 has been! I'd like to take the time to thank all my beautiful clients, everyone on here who follows and supports me and my amazing staff and team, I couldn't ask for any better. I feel so lucky to do what I do and make people feel good about themselves and give them confidence For me personally 2020 has been a huge year of growth. The biggest lesson I've learnt is to make a plan. I put so much time into working out a detailed plan for 2020 and boy ...did it pay off! I planned out every detail of my salon @pelobylago and seeing it come to life this year was incredible. I'm proud to have been able to open a salon and business in 2020! Such a big year of new beginnings. I will certainly never forget what year Pelo by Lago was born! This year has also had a big theme of gratefulness. I think we all realised what is important to us and how much it's the little things that make us the most happy. I am so grateful to have so many incredibly supportive people surrounding me from my family and friends to my team I am unbelievably grateful for the beautiful women I have working for me. They motivate me everyday to keep growing and creating. I am so grateful for my beautiful family my husband @nate_stan for being my rock! I'm looking forward to spending two weeks having some much needed family time and to relax and recharge. Pelo will be closed from the 24th December - 5th of January. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you for your support in 2020. I appreciate you all I can't wait for 2021! I think it's going to be even bigger and better. 24.01.2022 I’m on day 4 of washed hair so this morning I’m showing you how to refresh and add volume with dry shampoo for that I just walked out of the salon look! I use @kmshairau hair play makeover spray which absorbs oil and builds volume to refresh limp and day old styles! It is my favourite product for quick touch ups and in between shampoos. #kirbylagohair

23.01.2022 You all know I’m all about hair health, not over colouring the hair and tips and tricks for how to bring your hair back to life! To me healthy hair is beautiful hair I get so many questions about which products I use and what products I recommend to get the hair healthy. In the coming weeks I will be sharing my #hairtips for you! Here are my tips for washing your hair correctly ... 1 Always brush your hair before washing. This will untangle your hair and help the hair not stretch when getting wet. 2 Always shampoo your hair twice, only on the root area. The roots are where we need to wash away the oil and dirt, don’t scrub your ends this is actually bad for the hair. 3 Always use a hair mask instead of a conditioner. I use the @goldwellaus Kerasilk reconstruct mask every time I wash my hair. Start from the roots through to your ends and use a wide tooth comb. I hope these hair tips have helped you! 19.01.2022 Exciting News! I’m so excited to announce that I am opening my own hair salon! When I was pregnant with my first baby Ari I decided to sell my salon and freelance while building our little family. 5 years and three kids later, my freelance business has absolutely taken off and it’s time to expand. I am so excited to put everything I have been planning and dreaming about into this salon to create a space that women feel empowered and beautiful, to lift other women up and... to create beautiful hair. I want to thank my amazing husband @nate_stan for holding down the fort at home and always being my biggest supporter! I am so grateful for your help and encouraging me to do what I love. It isn’t always easy but showing my girls how you can achieve your goals and anything you work hard for is so important to me I would also like to thank Zoe @coco21_caringbah for hosting me in your salon over the years! And of course to all my clients, thank you so much for all your support I wouldn’t be where I am today without all of you! My new salon @pelobylago will be located in Cronulla! I can’t wait to share my vision with you all. This will be like no salon you have ever experienced before. 06.01.2022 I received some great feedback on last weeks hair tips so here are 3 more for your Monday 1. Brush your hair before bed to get any knots out, this will help keep your hair healthy and avoid any damage during the night 2. This is my FAVOURITE tip and an absolute must in my eyes! Sleep on a SILK pillowcase. Not only is this great for keeping your hair healthy, smooth and avoiding split ends but it’s also great for your skin! ... 3. Use a silk scrunchie to tie your hair up. Please throw those elastic hair ties out babe, they are only pulling on your hair and damaging it! Were these tips helpful?! Kirby x
