We are parents too, and we know its fun to show grandparents and visitors the fun you are having in lessons But we need to look after each other and do the right thing. Lets not overload our pool deck with people, keep it Covid-safe and dont bring anyone you dont need to during this phase. Social distancing is easier and more effective with less people on our deck

16.01.2022 Its been 20 years! Who can believe it? This opening ceremony was exciting in so many ways, being at home and the realisation of a dream come true Bill. As Bill reflects: the opening ceremony was that moment where I realised that Id done it. Id finally made it. Whatever happened next I could legitimately call myself an Olympian and that was the realisation of a lifetime of hard work and sacrifice for the sport I loved. Walking into that stadium with the crown erupting, my mates beside me as surreal and, I cant even explain it!

14.11.2021 With a number of tragic and near-tragic drownings in WA over the last week - it’s a timely reminder to make sure you follow the layers of protection from drowning. Death and serious injury by drowning is the biggest risk for children under 5, especially 1-3 year olds who are curious, mobile and active. 1. Fence the pool and double check your gates are self closing and there are no climbable objects close by. Check parents and friends pool gates when visiting. Maintain gates a...nd fences. 2. Teach your children to swim as early as possible. 3. Have an emergency plan, know CPR and always check the pool/water bodies first when a child is missing. 4. Always supervise around water, even older children who you think can ‘Swim’. Appoint a designated water watcher at parties who is sober and responsible. Don’t rely on lifeguards to supervise your children - it’s the entire communities responsibility to watch vulnerable children around water.
