22.01.2022 A year has passed since begining my reiki business! I am reflecting upon all of the changes that have happened within and around me during this time - mentally, physically, emotionally. I began this page to promote my business. It became a space for me to express myself, to be creative and to share my journey. Everthing I share here has been to guide my own healing. If anything has helped to guide yours too - I am grateful In reflection I have noticed this narrative I feel... around me, or within me, that being 'spiritual' or an 'energy healer' is to be perfectly enlightened, positive, calm, kind, patient and happy. Its an unrealistic expectation and Im certainly not out here pretending to be perfect. I am a perfectly imperfect human. I am still healing from my own wounds and traumas. I am constantly navigating triggers. I feel anger, dissapointment and guilt. I make mistakes. I can be emotionally reactive. I have an ego. I dont always have the answers. I can be impatient and insecure. I often dress with a smile and pretend im okay when Im not. While somedays I feel like im falling apart, other days I feel like a god damn goddess and believe I can actually change the world. I eb and flow with life, embracing all of the lessons and the growth - and that is where my light shines. Stepping into the energy of another year, I intend to live my life completely authentically and unapologetically me. To continue navigating boundaries and healing my people pleasing tendencies. To continue releasing control, to accept them exactly as they are, so they have the freedom to always be exactly who they are supposed to be. As I look into their eyes I am reminded that they do not need to be 'taught' or 'parented' - but to be guided. To remeber who they came here to be, without anyone ...telling them who they should be. 14.01.2022 In MY truth, I am a Warrior. A survivor of experiencing abuse in all of its forms. Along with experiencing the beauty that lies deep within the eyes of someone elses pain. The greatest healing journey of my life. ... I am honestly deeply grateful for it all. The good, the bad, the ugly, the lessons. It is what fuels my fire of desire today. It is a journey that brought me home to myself It is true that rock bottom provides you with a solid foundation to rebuild your self. If that is what you choose. And I did. 13.01.2022 My babies and I were running around the beach yesterday saving these little white butterflies after we witnessed something that felt pretty close to a miracle As we pulled up on the beach we were soon surrounded by hundred of thousands of white butterflies coming inland off the ocean (im guessing they were migrating or something). My son was screaming with joy "its the butterfly apocolypse!!" Was one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed. Of course after a mome...nt I ran for my phone to capture this... only to later realise I hadnt pressed reccord . A reminder maybe to be present, and that some moments are just meant to be enjoyed in the moment.
