25.01.2022 What a fantastic opening night. @hueandcrycollective curated brilliantly. If you didn't get a chance to go tonight, the show is on for a while! I loved people checking out our studios! Haha it's like letting some inside your brain/heart!! As for my work; It felt sombre, it felt important. FourThreeFour was my way of discussing Blak deaths in custody. We need to be shocked, we need to make change. I'm glad this installation made it into the last bit of 2020. I think change is coming. We need to learn more and push for that change.

13.01.2022 2020 what a whirlwind. Started with my solo exhibition and curated show, ending with a political installation bringing awareness to Blak deaths in custody as part of the group exhibition at Hue and Cry Gallery. All the in between? A job at NIKERI Institute has allowed me to run artistic events, paint live, give talks on my story, speaking on panels about the importance of Aboriginal voices telling Aboriginal stories, I've made myself a sweet little studio space at Hue and ...Cry Collective, I've planned for collaborations as a member of GEXA Art Collective , I've made art, I've sold art and I've loved sharing with all of you! Bring on 2021. Watch this space! A quote from a fav... "That is beautiful which is produced by the inner need, which springs from the soul." - Kandinsky Make stuff, from your heart, from your soul, tell your story! Paint, draw, weave, carve, write, build. For you.

12.01.2022 Come on down and check out our amazing gallery space and this very cool selection of work

06.01.2022 What's with the boxes? When faced with the question what would Geelong look like 1000 years in the future, I had to answer. I don't know. Who am I to answer such an important question.?! So I gathered Community. We had the yarns. Each told a story, shared some knowledge and embedded that into a box (our building blocks). The future must be grounded in Indigenous Knowledge, Culture and humour. With this as a foundation WE can build OUR future. So, we created those foundational building blocks. Grab one and build the future!! You can come along in the arvo Thursday 25th and build with me! Centreline Arcade 132 Little Malop Street, Geelong

05.01.2022 38.7944 S, 176.0756 E Songlines|Acrylic| Framed A3 Artwork|$400 Thanks Artemis for helping me photograph my art!! This one is from my Whanau (family) land, I'm Noongar but I'm also Maori - Tuwharetoa. There is a path that winds along the river, down a way from Mum and Dad's home. The green there is so different, so vivid, from the greens I see from home.

01.01.2022 Breathe the Change - My Karak Dream This is a wip depicting the Change of everything normal since the onset of Covid-19. Karak is the Noongar name for black cockatoos... one of their many representations is that of change!! The shadows are many and a little menacing just like how big change can make us feel! But if you stop and breathe and truly see, it is beautiful and there is always a guide!! To see it and feel it in real life....come along to GEXA - inaugural exhibition BREATHE https://fb.me/e/3nG5T3QAD
