22.01.2022 Dr Gee and hospital staff connecting a new water pump supplied by Rotary and Dick Smith as part of the Rotary club of Rowville Lysterfield Kiriwina hospital water supply project.

07.01.2022 Rebuilt the Kiriwina hospital water supply and installed new water pump. The hospital now has bacteria free water in the birthing room and in two of the hospital wards. Thank you to Emanuel Tosiyeru and Dr Gee at Lokuia Lodge for their leadership and hard work. Thank you to Dick Smith for his financial assistance.

05.01.2022 This is Jemaimah. 6 months ago and since birth, she was not able to walk or stand on her own due to club feet. With the help of Kiriwina Rotary Aid Project we coordinated a referral to our Alotau surgeon to help. Now she is in smiles undergoing physiotherapy and rehabilitation. I visited her and delivered cash assistance from the project coordinator Mr Alan Lunghusen of Rotary Club of Rowville-Lysterfield. I am blessed to see this girl smile. She is now able to stand on her feet and walk. It's a blessing. Thanks to Rotary and Alotau General Hospital Team.

05.01.2022 This is Jemimah. Jemimah has had two club feet from birth. Her father asked for one of the walkers that the rotary club of Rowville Lysterfield sent to Kiriwina Island PNG. This would help him to move Jemimah around and take her to school. We thought we must do more than that so with the help of Doctor Gee at Lokuia lodge we arranged to transfer Jemimah to the mainland for an operation to enable her to walk for the first time in her life. Jemimah is now recovering from the operation. Isn’t Rotary Great!
