18.01.2022 Introducing Katrina Porter, the fifth candidate for our Ability Within a Disability campaign. Over the next four weeks we will be sharing with you her story of struggle, perseverance and inspiration! Katrina was born with Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenital, a condition whereby her lower limbs were rigid from birth, causing muscle weakness and joint stiffness as she developed. As she learnt to live with her disability, Katrina started practicing hydrotherapy, and it was there in the pool that she discovered her passion for swimming and an exciting new direction in life. 16.01.2022 What a day we had yesterday. 12 hours of non stop photography, creativeness and joy to watch my beautiful sister law in law and now brother in law married in what has to be my one of my most enjoyable weddings yet. It was a little cold but every minute was a blessing. A few tears, laughs and sore feet but now the real work begins as we have 3 days to finalise the images before we fly back to WA. Love you guys! On the brink of becoming a father, Jake Howes life took a dramatic turn after a party incident left him a quadriplegic, causing him to loose all feeling and motion in his legs and leaving his arms very weak. However, the anticipated arrival of his baby son gave Jake the strength that he needed to begin his path toward discovering his true abilities. Born with a rare disease, Natalie lived in constant pain throughout her childhood and as a result had her lower right leg amputated.
