RAYON is actually one of our fave fabrics and actually, the majority of my wardrobe is rayon, and heres why: It is soft, lightweight, breathable, drapes lovely and is comfortable. It is an excellent choice for warmer weather as well, because it wicks away moisture and heat ... I never have issues with my clothing and heres how I keep my rayon pieces looking fab Wash inside a mesh bag, with a gentle detergent, in cold water, choose the gentle cycle, and select the slowest spin speed. To avoid shrinking, do not tumble dry. Shake your garment out when its wet & stretch slightly along the hems and sleeves to maintain shape To reduce creases, we suggest steaming. If you happen to find theyve gotten a touch smaller, the warm steam will bring them back to shape as rayon grows with heat. So there you go! 07.01.2022 2021, we don’t want any trouble from you Come in, sit down, keep your hands to yourself and don’t say anything, okay? What a ride 2020 has been both personally and in business Starting the year with the horrendous Black Summer, we were just grateful to be able to pay our rent at Kirrajane ... Then, that dirty C-word hit (Covid). Literally every single small business I know was like and an incredible group of Perth boutiques banded together offering emotional support and advice - so grateful for that sisterhood, you know who you are Karen quickly made it up north (to be with my dad) before the regional border closures and did all of the boutique buying exclusively from the laptop. YOU amazing ladies supported us STRONG Still shopping and utilizing local delivery Amidst the chaos of the world in April, my first bubba, Teddy was born We reopened the boutique in May and Karen was able to fly back to Perth with a G2G pass Despite being physically open, many of our suppliers were (and still are!) having multiple issues with receiving product from manufactures. Stock was arriving from overseas, into Sydney where it was being processed, snaffled up and WA were sent what was left By this point, every single plan we had in place for KJ for 2020 had gone out the window. We were battling with our lease renewal, wondering if we were stupid for even considering it during a pandemic and this went on for far too many weeks before finally going with our guts and believing in our passion, and signing up again. But with Spring, came hope of a change. Our regional borders eased and WA had started to flourish. We were even lucky enough to squeeze in a quick Christmas VIP shopping night! December has definitely reignited our flame for 2021. In a year of unprecedented events, loss, protests, politics, climate change, pandemics and social distancing, there have also been many blessings. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for joining us, supporting us and sharing this journey with us in 2020. While we take a few days break so switch off and appreciate what is important, we hope you all do the same, have an amazing and safe new year and we shall see you next year Reopening mid next week

Thank goodness sunshine is on its way and there is light at the end of the tunnel, and with that in mind we just wanted to make note of a few exciting trends this spring The return of denim shorts; although this year we are seeing more mid thigh length (hallelujah) which look fab on all shapes and heights ... Comfortable stretchy rib dresses, tops, crops, skirts and bodysuits. Typical of spring, there are some gorgeous bold colours with floaty florals and we are working hard to bring you fresh modern floral prints! No daggy florals here! Boho; the trend that never ends.
