24.01.2022 Season Wrap W14C’s With a substantial jump in grade this year as a result of uncoupling of the W13/W14 competitions, the girls were up against it from the very start of the season. With their usual vim and vigour they approached each game with the same smiles and enjoyment that they always do. With continued fight, they started to post some good results (and goals) towards the end of the season which puts them in good stead for next year.... Plenty of noteworthy mentions across the team with our central midfielders, Alani, Matilda and Shaylee, each of these girls never stopped running all game. Upfront we had a mix of players this year who created some good scoring opportunities, including Piper, Taya, Jade. Outside on the left hand side we can never miss Maia, whose skill this year has gone ahead leaps and bounds. Across the back line and pushing up into the midfield we had Coralie, Chloe, Holly and Kahlyn - these girls were solid in defence all year. Our central defender (and probably one of best week in/week out performers) Mia, is always a solid performer and never stopped running. We then had our 3 rotating goal keepers, Alex, Felicity and Zoe, all of whom did an outstanding job in keeping the opposing team's goal attempts out. They are such a great bunch of girls who have played together for several years now (many since the U8's!) and they all really enjoy their football, they always have a smile on their faces and enjoy their friendships within the team. Have a great off season and we are hoping to see you all again next year!

14.01.2022 Round 13 of soccer saw our final team take part in the purple socks round for the Avner Foundation for pancreatic cancer. This is one cause that is close to the hearts of the AL3s and it was great to see their show of support on Sunday.

11.01.2022 Season Wrap U10D’s The U10Ds had a good year with 7 wins, 3 losses, and 2 draws (plus a rained out day). All the kids had clearly improved their skills since last year, and also worked really well as a team, happily passing to team mates and doing it well. 03.01.2022 KANGA JOEYS - PART 1 Season 2020 saw the launch of Kirrawee Kangaroos FCs 'Kanga Joeys' program for 3-5 year olds. The program is designed to give younger children an introduction into the wonderful world of soccer and to develop their focus and co-ordination prior to entering the junior sides. Earlier in the year we were successful in getting a grant towards the program largely supported by our local MP Eleni Petinos. The grant enabled us to purchase brand new soccer balls a...nd to provide professional coaching staff. We would like to send out a few thank yous.... To our head coach Tim Bible, for the countless hours you spend at home during the week putting together the stations and drills we thank you. Tim takes time out of his busy home and work life to design the program each and every week which caters for the childrens soccer development both physically and mentally, ensuring that each drill is age and developmentally appropriate for the children and also ensures that each drill has as much fun in it as possible. Tim takes the time to spend with all of the children every Sunday and he really does enjoy every minute of it. For all of this Tim we are truly grateful. You are an outstanding coach and an absolute asset to our club. We couldn't have done this without you. To our coaches Jaiden, Sean and Jacob, we thank you for the time that you take each Sunday morning to coach the Joeys. You have all shown maturity beyond your years and brought in your own soccer experience and expertise to your coaching skills. The Joeys have had a great time with you all and we have enjoyed having you on board as coaches. To our volunteer coaches Glenn, Gavan, Anthony and Evan, we appreciate the time that you take out each Sunday morning to coach our Joeys. All of you are coaches yourselves and that shows through by the way that you guide and instruct and by being the big kid out in the middle of the field with the Joeys. This is always noticed on the sidelines from the lots of giggling and smiling Joeys. We are grateful for all that you do. To our Joeys parents, thank you for choosing Kirrawee Kangaroos FCs 'Kanga Joeys' for your childs introduction to the sport that we all love so much. We really hope that you have enjoyed your time as much as we all have. Lastly, to our Joeys, without you there would not be a program to run and for that we are truly grateful. We hope that you have all had an awesome time running around, learning some new skills, meeting some new friends, playing some new games and having an absolute fun time with us. We will miss all of your little faces in the off season and look forward to seeing you all next year. We hope to see you all back in the Kanga Joeys program next year and for some of you we hope to see you enter into the junior sides at Kirrawee Kangaroos as you become of the eligible age. Please enjoy all of the photos which will have to be uploaded in parts due to their file sizes. See you all in 2021.

02.01.2022 Congrats to one of Kangas very own Paige Cuthill for making it into W14s NPL for St George FC. We are very proud of you and wish you lots of happiness in your next adventure.
