20.01.2022 I am reminded of Gabrielle Aplin’s song, the Power of Love: Make love your goal. Love is pure, the only treasure. With Covid lockdowns it seems that being with those we love has come to the fore. ... Many people are feeling lonely, missing the touch and the presence of their loved ones. My hope and my prayer for you is that you can find ways to connect with love, for yourself, for those nearby, for those you come into contact with each day. Then your heart can open and with that you can become more surefooted, more content and more connected in the absence of those you love.

13.01.2022 Learning to love myself, this has been a huge learning for me and I know I am not there yet. I walk between the paths of self-judgement and self-criticism to feeling a deep love and appreciation for myself. I have used my body to suppress so many emotions and my body has borne the brunt of it. I have sat over the last few days and weeks, knowing that I need to feel these emotions in order to heal, I mean really heal on a very deep level. My new mantra that I am committed to staying present to is I will o feel it to heal it

12.01.2022 The mind is a fragile thing. Why is it that one person has the ability to carve out the most amazing life and create/manifest all they desire and more? Where a...nother spirals down into a life of being destitute, using drugs and being in total fear for their life and cannot see a way forward or their part in it. I had a counselling session with a counsellor that uses Choice Theory. It was deeply insightful as the questions he asked promoted me to consider the language I use and how I would like my life to look different. He led me from a space where I felt I had little or no control into a space where anything is possible. This is my one precious life and I am taking it with both hands and that is my choice. 7 strategies to make great choices: 1. Take you time - reflect on priorities and goals, take stock of the benefits 2. Reduce stress focus on living a life that is content, choose simple, interesting options. Say no. 3. Accept that there may be multiple paths there is no wrong decision. There is only learning and growth. 4. Breathe and go with the flow its ok to feel resistance but it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do it. Brave choices can mean a positive change. 5. You are a human being, not a human doing. Who you are is more important that what you do. 6. Seek others out that have faced tough choices reflect on them, they may bring clarity. 7. Trust your process you will grow and learn.

12.01.2022 Childhood trauma can leave us feeling broken, disconnected, abandoned. Feeling that there is no way out. I know. I grew up in an alcoholic home and it was to... impact my life over and over again as I grew into adulthood. Several years ago I went through a massive breakdown that brought all of my trauma to a head and through this experience I discovered healing methods that had a profound effect on my wellbeing. These methods blew the doors of self-healing WIDE OPEN. One I started to apply these practices my life transformed. And yours can too. We can become unbroken and we can find true freedom in our life, in control of our own destiny and rewrite our story. I have written an e-book Just Get Over It! Childhood trauma and why you can’t just get over it just for you, an introduction to childhood trauma to support you as you transform your life. This book takes the reader through what childhood trauma is, how it impacts our life and the pathway out. 06.01.2022 I’ve had a massive 2020. It has definitely been a baptism of fire literally. On the eve of 2020 my husband and I defended our home against a fire that had been looming since November 2019. It was definitely the summer that never was. I have loved the summers in my hometown. Lazy afternoons sitting in the river with a cider surrounded by family and friends. With droughts, it’s been a few years since I really enjoyed this experience. I became actively involved in the respon...se and recovery in my community. Next my mum became very unwell. Diagnosed with terminal cancer and given a prognosis of three months, we were blessed to have a further 3 years with her. She went down hill and was admitted into a nursing home on respite but never came home. Then Covid hit and it hit hard. Our region is reliant on tourism, so off the back of the fires we have really felt it. No tourism over the Christmas period due to fires and now no Easter tourism and the list goes on. Not being able to see my mum for a period of time was so difficult and she was feeling the loneliness of it. Struggling to hear and struggling to speak, I imagine she must have felt so isolated. I am forever grateful to her palliative care nurse that advocated for us, her family, to be able to see her. My youngest daughter manages a gym. Her partner works in a gym. So they faced massive concerns about their income. How would they pay their mortgage? It was a stressful time until the government announced support. I took the opportunity to leave my job and study counselling and start my coaching and specialised courses business. It’s been one hell of a ride and I am loving the creative space. In the midst of this my mother passed away and only 10 people (masked up) at the funeral. I was heartbroken that we could not celebrate her life the way that she really deserved. Early in the year my oldest daughter was planning her wedding. We were sure that by October this whole situation would be resolved. Here we are early September hoping that 10 people can attend her wedding. What have I learnt from all of this? There are no guarantees in life and we definitely cannot control everything that goes on around us, but we can control our attitude towards it Often there are unseen blessings in the darkest of nights We can look for the small things each day to be so grateful for We can use our voice and advocate for others We can feel the love of those around us even at the darkest of times and just keep swimming in the love

04.01.2022 Are you feeling lost and confused? Feeling like you have a sense that there must be more to this life? That something seems to be pushing you in another direction? I remember the first time I hit a major crossroads in my life. I was very unwell, suffering from post natal depression and Ross River virus. Being unwell really got me questioning my life and I was asking the big question, you know the one. The WHO AM I? question. This experience started me on the journey to find m...yself again. It started with me developing my intuition. This blew the doors on self-discovery WIDE OPEN. One I started to apply the principles of tapping into my intuition my life transformed. And yours can too. You can find freedom in your life, you can feel like you have a life purpose and be in control of your own destiny. I have developed this webinar just for you, an introduction to intuition to support you as you transform your life. This webinar will takes you through what intuition is and how to recognise it showing up in your life, plus a sneak peek into how to start to tap into it. Link in Events under my bio.

01.01.2022 To listen to ones soul is so important - taking time to listen to the quit whispers. Did you hear that? That quiet voice? What did it remind you? What did it ask you to remember? Did it remind you that you are truly beautiful? That you are loved and held by the sacredness of life? Did it remind you that you truly matter in the lives of those around you? That you bring value to those people each and every day? Did your soul remind you that you are here for a purpose? That t...he world needs you and your big heart now? Fear and doubt can stop you from stepping up but your soul will continue to whisper to you and quietly call you home - home to yourself and your true nature. The soul knows - it knows because it is one small spark in this infinite universe. You are one part of this bigger puzzle of the universe, you may be small but your piece of this puzzle is needed for the greater good of all. Your soul beckons listen listen it is talking to you. My soul is calling me to create, create the book that I need to read. I still feel so unsure if its content and so I will write. I will write for the Goddess, for the women, my women, they speak to me. I will spill their words and wisdom onto these pages. Their words are timeless and ancient. They speak to the souls, hearts and bodies is all women. Their words are visceral and the body will respond with a yes, these words resonate. I feel you I feel you I feel you I know you ...
