25.01.2022 #playdough - have you made it from scratch for your kids? If you haven’t then you should. It is so #cheapandeasy & the ingredients required are all staple pantry items. Thanks Thermie for making life so easy! I used this recipe and swapped out the cream of tartar for 3tspns of lemon juice https://thermobliss.com/pretty-pastel-thermomix-playdough/... #tm6 #thermomixaus #playdoughfun @thermomixaus

24.01.2022 To all my local followers please stay safe tonight & tomorrow. To everyone from further afield. We are right in line for the Cyclone which is very unusual for our Wheatbelt town in Western Australia. Here’s hoping we all come out reasonably unscathed

20.01.2022 Have you guys been utilising the high heat function? Those squiggly lines mean high heat is enabled (only available in guided cooking) & listen to that awesome sizzle! Caramelised onion & bacon coming up ready to add to potato salad

19.01.2022 Who doesn’t love a good #lasagne The #thermomix makes it quite quick and simple & having #2bowls is a real advantage. For this lasagne I used pork mince and added extra veg (celery, carrot, mushrooms, onion, garlic). I #grated the cheese in the machine too. All this took was 4 seconds on speed 8 (no need to ever stand and grate cheese again)... What’s your favourite lasagne recipe? #tm6 #thermomixaus

18.01.2022 Tonight we had something just a little bit different for dinner. I cooked onion and bacon using the caramelised onion recipe on Cookidoo, once that was done I added in some yummy tomato relish I had in the fridge, used the reheat function to get the temp just right. Paired it with a bit of rice and some grated Parmesan, and it was really delicious.

17.01.2022 Let’s talk #scones This is the only recipe I ever use and it has never, not once failed me https://www.recipecommunity.com.au//b0zf9mmp-35bb2-269714-... My top tips for scone making: ALWAYS whip your cream first then you don’t need to clean out the bowl before tipping the dough from the bowl scrape down the sides so you have dough that resembles a bit of a dome under the bowl, twist the base of the blade to help release the dough flour your work surface & spray cooking oil on your hands - stops the dough from sticking before you start patting out your dough, put water in the bowl and start the dough pre-clean function - then all you’ll need to do is give the bowl a quick rinse (YAY) (image 2) as a personal preference I never set a timer for scones I know when they are done by the colour they are in the oven Happy sconeing

08.01.2022 Who feels like chicken tonight??? We did CHICKEN CHASSEUR and it was delicious. ... This is a recipe using the slow cook method in the TM6 (no blade cover required). Served with rice - in the varoma while the rice cooked I put in some broccoli & pumpkin, plus I had some apples in the fridge that needed using so I cut them and steamed them a bit - delicious with yoghurt for either a breakfast or after dinner snack If your varoma hides in the back of your cupboard it’s time to pull it out and put it to work!

02.01.2022 #happyeaster to all my wonderful followers. Zoe & I have had a really lovely few days surrounded by family. Flick over to the next photo for a handy tip - when you have scraped as much from the bowl as you can, turn to turbo for 2 seconds to whiz all the extra bits to the edge of the bowl - less waste & easier cleaning. #doublebonus #tm6 #wholeorangecake #deliciousandeasy
