24.01.2022 VACANCIES!! We currently have some vacancies in our Centre. Please call 47736499 if you would like some more information.

24.01.2022 The Nursery children extended on their interest in the natural environment by planting flowers. They were all very eager to help put the potting mix into the pots - they used the small shovels to navigate the potting mix from the bag to the pots. The children then helped to plant the plants into the pots and each gave them a water. They will continue to explore their plants and watch them grow. Through this experience the children are showing a growing appreciation for the natural environment and caring for the environment. (LO 2.4)

10.01.2022 While out in the playground this morning the Kindergarten children had been discussing the leaves on the trees and the flowers which we have in our garden. Remembering a tree in the entrance that was in flower our Early Childhood Teacher Sarah picked some off the tree and showed the children. The children and Sarah had a discussion about the picked trees and the colours which could be used to paint a still life. There were some suggestions that the trees were yellow, green and brown. There were also some suggestions that they could be painted colours such as blue (which would have been an artistic impression). The easel was set up and the children painted their own still life of the trees. The children painted some amazing artworks.

10.01.2022 The Junior Kindy children have been exploring the story 'The Very Cranky Bear' to follow on from the children's interest in this story, the children made their own 'Cranky Bear'. To construct their own Cranky Bear the children were given play dough and lots of natural resources such as sticks for antlers, rocks to use as the bears eyes, bark from a tree to use for stripes. The children used their creativity and imagination to transform the different resources into their very own cranky bear!

07.01.2022 Our babies enjoyed using the felt board today. While they listened to the rhymes of '5 Jelly Fish' and '5 Coloured Sheep' they moved the felt pieces around the board. They are so clever!

05.01.2022 On Wednesday the Kindergarten Children made some superhero’s in support of our Superhero Dress up for Muscular Dystrophy. Using paddle pop sticks and paper the children drew a face, glued on a cape and then decorated it. While the children worked they discusses muscular dystrophy and what it means with their educators. During this experience the children demonstrated and extended on their sense of identity. They acknowledged who they are and connected with others in their world. They took on their thoughts and discovered other ways of being.
