They FEEL the textures with their little hands, feet and mouth; they SEE all the colours; they SMELL ; they LISTEN ; they TASTE !!! Everything then begins to then make sense to them! The caregiver’s very important role then is to observe, ensure the environment is safe for them and give them plenty of uninterrupted time and space to just go for it!! ... 08.01.2022 This week's playgroup was a calm zone with fun had by all! Our strategy to split the group worked well. Our baby Puggles 0 - 1 year or non walkers met at 9am with rhyme time, and sensory play. Our 1yr+ walkers were started at 10am with circle time outdoors with the lovely Deb. They travelled over the stepping stones through the magical story tunnel onto the parachute for stories and music . Baby shark adoo doo was a huge hit with parents and kids alike. ... It was wonderful to have dad's along and Nanas too! Next week playdough and spaghetti messy play. Pancakes and fruit salad! Come and join us!
