25.01.2022 Gifted sculptor + Generous patrons + Tireless volunteers + Beautiful Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail = MAGIC Sunday morning. Plan your next walk and lay your eyes on the newly installed Grounded Guardian by the talented @Nicholas Uhlmann. Pat Goodwin, Jayne & Ashleigh Bates, Robyn & Les Field, Kim & Valerie Harrold all joined patron forces to bring this piece to the trail. Many thanks to their generosity.

23.01.2022 The welcome rain is seeing the trail spring to life and the green is returning - as well as these beautiful fungi. Wander through and enjoy the wonderful journey of discovery.

19.01.2022 It is truly remarkable how productive a group of motivated volunteers can be on a windy rainy morning. Appreciation in loads to all the kind folk who helped install the Humpy today.

17.01.2022 We hope everyone is well and warm during these troubling times. We also hope that you have beautiful outdoor areas to get your daily dose of Vitamin D and exercise! The Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail is always available for a stroll...just make sure you give each other some room to pass at a distance! (mind the furry locals...they don't understand physical distancing!)

16.01.2022 Even when the clouds are thick...beautiful rays of light shine down all around us. The Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail is a wonderful place to soak in these magic moments. Open to all, completely free of charge, 24/7 in delightful Penneshaw. #welcomeback #whynotki #kangarooisland

16.01.2022 Do you love the Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail "Orchid Garden"? Well, the very talented Victor Waclawik Art has decided to do a big sale of some of his existing sculptures. Contact Vic if you are interested in purchasing for your own personal collection.

15.01.2022 We sadly have to report that the Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail donation post has been robbed! The stainless steel box at the entrance of the trail has had the lock broken into and all the funds stolen. This, of course, is very sad on many levels for the dedicated volunteer team...and our whole community. If you have seen any suspicious behaviour around this incident, please report it to any of the KIST members.

14.01.2022 Have a fun run across the Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail Swing Bridge! #southaustralia #kangarooisand Authentic Kangaroo Island KangarooIsland

08.01.2022 It's time for us to call on all sculptors to submit an idea for the Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail. Thanks to winning a very exciting grant, we will be able to commission a new significant installation. This Expression of Interest, due by 31 October 2020, is seeking a sculptural concept and design for the Lighthouse position on the Kangaroo Island Sculpture Trail. This significant and commanding sculpture, will become an iconic art piece for the Township of Penneshaw and ...will articulate the resilience of Kangaroo Island. The piece must be unique, original and specific to the location.
