20.01.2022 There is no bigger 'aha' moment I think then when you have kids of your own and you finally realise how completely and utterly amazing your own parents were and are. 15.01.2022 My family and I are very keen road trippers. We love getting out into the countryside, finding a little gem of a camping spot and copping a squat for a few days. At Easter we ventured past a good friend's farm in Bathurst who also happens to be a talented photographer. The shoot brief was to capture us doing what we love to do... hanging out in the great outdoors with a campfire and our gorgeous little truck. Jennifer Stocks Photography nailed it don't you think?

14.01.2022 Three happy boisterous boys (my favourite kind) exploring their best beach (Kendalls in Kiama) with their parents on a glorious winter's day earlier this week. Winter is still my favourite time of the year for family sessions. The beaches are deserted, the light is so magically soft and low early in the day, the air is cooler so no getting hot, bothered and sweaty running around after young kids, AND all the cosy, warm woolly jumpers bring lots of wonderful colour and texture to the images. Why wait for summer I say?

08.01.2022 Their Daddy is part of the ground team that helps keep the helicopters flying for the Navy based in Nowra. I thought it was pretty awesome indeed when a couple of these incredible machines did a fly by at the end of our shoot!

06.01.2022 Hello there Kiama and Illawara friends. It is fundraising time again for our very own completely wonderful Kiama Downs Community Preschool. They do such an am...azing job of caring for my little ones so I really look forward to this time of the year when I can offer up my time and talents to help them out a little. I have a limited number of 20 minute session times available at Jones Beach, Kiama Downs (images captured will be like the ones below!) over the next week (30th August to 7th September) between 4pm and 5.30pm. Your only obligation is the session fee is $35 and for that you get a 20 min photo shoot and an 8x12 print. The session fee is donated to the school for their fundraising pot. 03.01.2022 I love it when a client brief comes together. This lovely local family had a clear vision of capturing their passion for the surf on an early morning dawn shoot down at the beach. It a truly a joy to be out and about at this time of the day. I do love a lie in under my cosy warm doona on a chilly winter's morning but give me a family to photograph in dawn light and i'm out of bed quicker then lightening.
