25.01.2022 What a retreat!! Beautiful, joyful and inspiring!! I feel extremely grateful to be working with some of the most amazing women I know. @pat_collins_the_centre, @barenatureskin, @lovearthyoga, @pilligapottery.barkalafarmstay, @fionamay_22, my family and to all the amazing women that joined us over the weekend!! I also feel honoured to have held this retreat on the ancestral lands of the Gamilaroi people. I would like to pay my respects to them and their cultures; and to Elders both walking the land and with us in spirit.

15.01.2022 Dear Kissen Friends!! I know you haven't heard from me for a rather long time but I've got something brewing and it's taking a little longer than first expected. These wonderful and insightful workshops in collaboration with @pat_collins_the_centre and @barenatureskin are going to continue but you'll need to book through Shelley the mama of @barenatureskin. I have put the link for tickets in my bio !! The workshops are often expressed by students as life changing, so if you haven't been I highly recommend booking!! 09.01.2022 When it fades dye it again and again and again until one day, when you bury the worn old fabric, you allow it to return to the soil beneath your feet. . . Warning!! This is only possible with natural fibres and dyes, the rest of our clothes unfortunately just become landfill

Reduce - Reuse - Rethink - Repurpose and so many more R's are needed to create a better world !! 04.01.2022 Last year I had the privilege of hosting these workshops, which are now hosted by BARE Nature'skin. Pat is one special lady with years of knowledge that she is willing to share. My favourite part of the day is the wild weed walk at the beginning of the day, you will be amazed at how many 'weeds' are edible ;-)

03.01.2022 Learn to know better. While digging around in what is to become my veggie garden, I came to think, if I didn't know any better I would just pull out everything that is classified a weed, start from scratch, planting only the things that are known to me, which is fair enough as no animal wanting to live will willingly eat something that may poison them, this is why I love learning from @pat_collins_the_centre . Pat teaches you to 'learn to know better'. In return this helps you save time and money as all of a sudden there is food all around you, food that you may have disregarded as an annoying weed. Learn to know better!! Thanks Pat
