24.01.2022 VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE - CLASSES CANCELLED We have been discussing all weekend where we go with our classes. Our thoughts have changed several times but upon listening to the PM this morning we have decided that now is the time to CANCEL ALL CLASSES effective immediately. Please spread this news around to friends, Leah will text everyone as well. Thank you to Cathy from Steppin in Line for the excellent explanation below of online options to keep us dancing at home. ... Maddison Glover is offering live stream dancing on her fb page. Go to Maddison Glover Line Dancing to follow. There is an app called Linedancer Radio. This is world wide however there is an Australian show with Darren Mitchell from Melbourne which runs on a Sunday afternoon from 6-8pm. This is a great show even if you just want to listen to some dance music. Also there are lots of YouTube videos that offer walk throughs to follow. (Great info, thanks Cathy!) Leah will choose some dances to post to our page for you to try, plus some to practice if you want to. Then we can all dance these together once this is over! NOW HERES WHERE YOU NEED TO PAY ATTENTION The Mooloolah Hall have advised us that the hall is not available for us to use from 1-10 October. But fear not, we have a fun solution! For Fridays 2nd and 9th October, we will be having our classes at the Banana Bender Pub! Or The Shed at Aussie World you may know... it as. The format will change a little as under: 9-10.30am - AB/Beginners 10.30-noon - Beg/Improvers $10 per class or both for $15. Bookings are ESSENTIAL and payment needed when you book. 20.01.2022 PLEASE READ - LONG POST ALERT: Thank you to everyone who attended our Maleny class on Monday for your patience dealing with the situation we found ourselves in. We know there will be unforeseen issues that will occur during these Covid19 times. Moving forward, due to the double booking and the other hirer not willing to compromise, we have unfortunately needed to relocate our Monday class. HOWEVER, thanks to the awesome team at Mooloolah Valley Hall, we are able to have ano...ther class there. The time will be 2.30-4.30pm on Mondays. ALSO, given all the regulations there are to comply with at the moment, please arrive ready to dance at class start time, and please understand that you will need to book your class via text. 20.01.2022 UPCOMING AUGUST ADJUSTMENTS: I'll be posting some info regarding adjustments to our prices from next week (details in a separate post tomorrow) and some info re classes for August. The price increase is needed to cover the additional cleaning products and time for cleaning each class (longer hall hire time is needed). If we all want to keep dancing, this is the only way that is possible so that Leah can cover costs. The last few months have been pretty tough on everyone so let's give a quick thank you to our leader Leah - the extra time and effort she has gone to so that we can all keep dancing has been incredible. 19.01.2022 Oh what a day/night! To say we are proud of you all is an understatement...everyone had their eyes opened to a whole new world yesterday, and everyone was awesome! We learnt some great dances from Maddison, we all enjoyed her teaching style! And the Soirée, what a fabulous evening! Great food, great dancing and great company. We are so pleased so many of you joined us to enjoy this fabulous event!

11.01.2022 UPDATE FROM LEAH: (long post but please read all) Our classes will continue as usual for the moment. Meet and Greet 15 mins before class. I will do the necessary cleaning. I will do all the signing in. Please bring correct money to avoid money handling. I will bring toilet paper (it has been being stolen from the toilets so bringing our own) as well as hand wash and paper towel. Tea and coffee still provided, I will do the serving. Now heres your part: Please bring your own ...hand sanitiser or wipes or old fashioned handkerchief for your personal use. Bring your own cup and munchies. VERY IMPORTANT: please text me if you decide not to dance. If you or a family member are high risk category or if you are not well please PLEASE stay home!
