25.01.2022 We have seen quite a few kitchen styles come through our factory the past 45 years. Each kitchen is as unique as the next. More recently we have seen some fun ‘retro style kitchens’. It’s always nice to see a pop of colour in the factory and experiment with different manufacturing techniques.

24.01.2022 What is the difference between 2Pac & Vinyl kitchen doors? In simple terms, ‘Two Pac’ paint otherwise known as 2 Pac, is a painting mixture solution incorporating a tin of paint and a tin of hardener to form a two-part solution. It must be applied by professionals in a dust-free, ventilated spray booth. A Vinyl kitchen door also known as Thermolaminated doors are made by stretching a thin sheet of vinyl over a cut and routed piece of MDF. First, glue is applied to the door a...nd then the vinyl is vacuum sealed to the door. So, what are the Pros and Cons of 2Pac & Vinyl? Vinyl Wrap Pros: Cost effective Quicker lead time from supplier Cons: Limited colour range The Gloss finish has orange peel effect. When you look across the surface horizontally with light reflection, it shows an imperfect gloss reflection like the surface of orange peel. Two Pac Pros: Fully customisable kitchen design Any colour from any paint brand can be chosen Increased range of highly detailed door designs available Cons: Greater expense Extended Lead time from suppliers due to the painting process In summary, both Vinyl Wrap and 2Pac are excellent options for cabinetry doors. However, as each kitchen is as unique as the next, it is recommended that you talk to your designer to discuss the best option for your kitchen.
