17.01.2022 In line with the changes we are experiencing due to the covid19 pandemic, Kitchen Witchery is offering a new alternative to traditional platters of catering. We are developing a menu for individually packaged catering to be delivered in separate bags for each person. This will include bread products such as sandwiches, bagels, wraps and rolls. Individual compound salads, so a healthy meal in a bowl and finger foods such as rice paper rolls, sushi, pin wheel crepes and much mo...re. We can also arrange individual morning tea pack. If you were curious about how your food is prepared we are also starting on the 30th of this month socially distanced cooking classes. We will take one product for example a whole chicken and show you how to make three meals for two people. We will offer a different theme for each class and will cover gluten free baking, Sweets, preserves & casseroles to name just a few. 06.01.2022 We hired Kitchen Witchery to cater for a 3 course dinner with canapes for my 70th birthday at my home. Signe and Lyndie were very helpful when I was arranging... it and Terri the chef and Angelica the water were superb on the night. We are all vegetarians with one vegan and the food was outstanding. Beautifully prepared, plentiful and delicious. They also left the kitchen spotless. We will definitely hire them again. See more

Earlier in the year a sma...ll group of us began meeting over a meal and glass of wine. We wanted to talk about our industry and in particular the suicides that we’d all heard about in the news. Jeremy Strode, Justin Bull, Anthony Bourdain..... We were all gutted. But what to do? Closer to home, one of our group, a Canberra hospitality teacher had tragically lost 2 of his former students. 19 year old young men. Devastating. So when we heard about Amber Kaba and her initiative, The White Jacket Effect, we offered her our full support. It’s a great cause aimed at opening up the conversation about mental heath in our industry. There’s already been events at Quay Restaurant in Sydney and last week at Wasabi Restaurant in Noosa. After Canberra it moves on to to Cumulus in Melbourne. On Monday 22nd July, James, John and the good people of The Boathouse are hosting Amber and the White Jacket Effect. It’s an opportunity for us to come together as a hospitality community and discuss some of the important issues we are currently experiencing. Through this conversation we can find ways to improve an industry we all love so much. So buy your tickets. Tell your friends. Tell your bosses.
