Bathe in the light of vaulted windows, refracted from featured deep-rail ceiling panels and antique white frame and panel doors; distinguished by the ebony appliances, and contrasted with and complemented by the mocha island cabinetry and inverse coloured solid surface bench tops; all iced with an ornate canopy range, both strong and appealing, yet private and inviting. 24.01.2022 Sticking with, what appears the theme for today, here is another recording studio project we assisted with. This cabinetry work features in one of Australia's premier, and most respected recording studios. The work was slightly experimental, in that we used a new, very expensive, engineered coloured board called Colorati (like a high grade MDF). The main difference here was that Colorati was simply the same colour right throughout the material, which meant that we could ...machine it to any shape or profile, sand and it is ready for two pack finishes. Many patrons while sitting in the commanders chair, refer to this space and the console of a space ship - command centre.

17.01.2022 Fifteen years old today - flash back Friday. Great design, forward thinking, a kitchen consultation, quality materials and craftsmanship always pay out in the end. This kitchen is fifteen years old today. The house recently sold for 1.4 million and it features a simple, elegant, yet slightly romantic but contemporary design. A tribute to the complementarity and unique tastes of it's owners.... The space features a delightful through-window continuous stone bench that brings the outside entertaining into the space, and vice versa. The two toned 2-pack finish adds contrast and interest. It lifts the crisp waterfall bench, by toning down with a slightly darker over head section when viewed from the deck or formal dining areas. This also softens the dark glass splash from the Dulum natural white. With integrated appliances and concealed service appliances, the kitchen is clean and tidy. To peak interest, breakfast bar panelling detail was introduced under bench. This adds interest - after sitting in the space for some time - the details and design elements gently indulge your visitors over time, much like good conversation. Anyways, a great light, fresh, contemporary and yet romantic kitchen, whether it's in the turn of the millennium in 2000 (the build date), or right now in 2015. The powder/shower room and the main bathroom continue the theme of romance and contemporary lines. The natural travertine tiles are always timeless, and like timber floors, add warmth. Happy anniversary.

15.01.2022 Truly, this is the last one for today, and one I'm personally proud to be affiliated with. It was a pleasure to make this centrepiece console suite for a good friend many years ago, not long after he first started out mastering music. Today, his skill and mastering talents are world class. His client list features the world's top 40 acts, musicians, recording artist and music producers.... The cabinetry is a humble nod to his roots and a testimony to our quality and one of our guiding principles: that-is, it is better to buy something of quality once at a higher price - than to replace something of inferior quality and little value, many times.

Although we are experienced in designing and creating recording studio cabinetry and acoustic treatment, there were some challenges in the design brief and budget to overcome, but the results speak for themselves.
