20.01.2022 A tad muddy today. But kites 4 kids still had some fun making 150 kites at a new park opening today. A big thanks to Darren Tibbey for helping out with the display. Very small flying area and big winds meant smaller big kites on short lines. Cars parked on street as anchors was a bit different but ground way way to soggy to drive on so plan B it had to be.

17.01.2022 {Hi my name is...} Jo Baker, from Victoria, Australia. Jo is part of the family behind Kites 4 Kids, and she is a kite flyer, kite educator, kite builder and a ...2005 World Champion. The first kite that Jo flew was a checkmate, a 2 string sport kite way back in 1990! This year, Jo and her husband Ricky will be hitting the Semaphore beach bringing with them their planes, trains and automobiles kites - as well as dragons, easter bunny, ray and who know what other kites will make the journey!
