20.01.2022 It’s ok to not be ok. This October, during Mental Health Month I’ve signed up to @blackdoginst One Foot Forward to raise money for mental health awareness, support and research. This cause is so close to my heart! I've never done anything like this before but I think it's important now more than ever. Social stigma and discrimination can make mental health problems worse and stop a person from getting the help they need. Unfortunately less than half of all people in Australia... experiencing the symptoms of mental illness will seek professional help. I’ll be walking 150km in solidarity of those living with mental illness. The funds raised from One Foot Forward will support research into early detection, prevention and treatment of mental health disorders, as well as funding vital support services for those most at risk.
