There is so much negativity to focus on, especially if we listen to the news, but in reality we choose the focus. 02.01.2022 I am a big fan of the use of breath in improving fitness, promoting relaxation, and for overall better health. There are so many ways we enjoy breath. The fabulous action of breathing deeply to get oxygen into the body and invigorate muscles that are working hard, when you have been exercising. Or the deep breath in readiness to do a challenging exercise or task in order to centre and prepare the mind and body. Or the controlled breath utilised to still the mind in order to promote deep relaxation. I love taking moments throughout the day to deliberately notice my breath and use it consciously.
