17.01.2022 I started Hapkido when I was 4 years old( Korean age 5) with Master Sungwon Park in Samchupo and got black belt when i was 7. However, My first master became sick so Dojang was closed so i had to train Taekwondo, Boxing until Middle school but i didnt enjoy them as much as Hapkido. And then I met Grand Master in Jinju as well as Grand Master Kak soo Lee. I was with them and their Association. I am still with Grand Master Gak soo Lee. I trained Hapkido with them un...til I came to Australia in February 2 in 1999. I opened full-time cener in Woolloongaba in Brisbane in January 2000 "Kiwan Dojang" was officially launched. At that time, I had to prove my skills so I tried to join in all kinds of Martial Arts. I trained Haedonggumdo with Grand Master Na han il in 2002 in Seoul Korea. But i had personal issues in 2013 so had to go back to Korea. I opened up Kiwan Hapkido in Korea in 2011 as well. But i couldnt put up with too much commercial things. Now I am going to come back my destiny! Martial Art is my lifetime training. Of course I was in the wrong way as Human being but I always tried to be in the right way. TaekwonDo HakiDo , Do means "Right way in life" I am going to keep doing it until there is no tomorrow! I appreciate my all instructors who helped me! Cheers, Kiwan Kim See more
