22.01.2022 GRAND FINAL HOCKEY This weekend we celebrate our 2020 Alice Springs Hockey Season.. Congratulations to our Grand Finalists..... Men 14.30 - Kiwi Warriors Vs Centrals Women 16.30 - Desert Sharks Vs Pioneers Come down and watch some quality hockey as the seasons top teams go head to head.. Canteen and bar will be open.. Any Alice Springs Hockey Association non-members attending who wish to purchase alcohol will need to be signed in by a member. We will have a wristband identification system to assist the canteen volunteers. Please remember we are still required to abide by Covid planning restrictions Members, friends and family are all welcome but should stay away if sick or unwell. Hockey NT Hockey Australia

08.01.2022 FINALS HOCKEY Did someone say Finals Hockey!!! It's that time of the year Alice Springs.. We've got 3 weekends of the best hockey you will find for 1,500km'...s!! Come down and cheer on your teams!! Saturday September 19th - Semi Finals Women 13:30 - Centrals (3rd) v Redbacks (4th) 15:00 - Desert Sharks (1st) v Pioneer (2nd) Men 16:30 - Centrals (3rd) v Redbacks (4th) 18:00 - Kiwi Warriors (1st) v Sharks (2nd) The winner of the 3rd v 4th matches will advance to the next Preliminary Final round. The winner of 1st v 2nd will advance directly to the Grand Final. Loser will have a second chance in the Preliminary Final the following week. Please note there will be no extra time in the semi-final round. If the match is a draw at full-time, the higher placed team will advance. The Preliminary and Grand final matches will be played out with extra time and one-on-one if required to achieve a result. If you are available to assist in our canteen over the next couple of weeks let us know. Please remember we are still under Covid-Safe action planning, and if you are unwell to stay home.. 02.01.2022 Unfortunately we just couldn't get over the line yesterday.. Centrals def. Warriors 1-0 It's been another great season by our Warriors.. Minor Premiers..... Matt Liet - ASHA Top Goalscorer We had our chances in the Final, but with a Centrals defensive masterclass, we couldn't get an advantage in our attack.. Proud of our team, this and every year!! Looking forward to another big year in 2021.. If you're interested in joining us next year, drop us a msg.. Anyone can play this great game.. and we welcome people keen to take on a new challenge..
