25.01.2022 Feeling a tad excited tonight. Bookwork is all up to date. Shop is closed until Tuesday SO it is time to sit back with a Scotch and Soda. :-p I haven't done this for a while but please send a huge shout out to a local business who has offered you amazing service recently. 23.01.2022 Exciting News!! At least for me. :-p We are moving back in to our house this weekend. The majority of the repairs have been done. New Carpet will be laid at the end of the month and Kitchen repairs will be finalised in May BUT I am so looking forward to being home. I am so looking forward to having a Doggy Door back. Jetta especially is like a revolving door - In - Out - In - Out and then back in again. :-p PMSL A massive thank you to everyone who has had us in their thoughts through this process. I do feel truly blessed though. We were extremely lucky to have a friend offer us accommodation for a month and we were extremely blessed to have an amazing Project Manager.

22.01.2022 Do you know of an Animal Rescue Group who currently has Puppies in care? I have a couple of 18kg bags of Ivory Coat Puppy Lamb and Brown Rice with a best before date of 28/04/21 that I would like to gift to a rescue group. Ivory Coat is a Premium Australian brand and I am sure it will be good for another couple of months. :-) Please Note - I would prefer it to go to a group that actually has puppies at present - I hope you understand. <3

15.01.2022 Tonight I want to share - The majority of you know I think my husband is amazing BUT Covid 19 has knocked many of us. Keith has not seen his Son, Daughter in Law and Grandkids for nearly a year. The borders are now open!! They will catch up for Christmas. <3 Here's hoping many of you are also able to catch up with family :-)

10.01.2022 I am a tad excited tonight - The first of the local season Apricots have arrived. Keith orders all our fruit and veg but today I saw an invoice for Apricots. Nectarines and Peaches are already in store. Hope to have Plums and Cherries in the next week or two. Watch this space!! The one thing I can promise you is - they are truly new season products. :-)... No pictures tonight but I am sure you all know what the fruit looks like. Lol See more

10.01.2022 I seriously nearly burst in to tears today. My Kiwi Customers will understand. I ordered a carton of Malt Biscuits - They are out of stock. FFS - You can't have Christmas without Lollie Cake. I only have 4 packets of Malt Biscuits left in store, yet I have 20 packets of Fruit Puffs and Eskimos which you need for Lollie Cake. BUT - there is light at the end of the tunnel. Malt Biscuits will be available some time next week SO the week after I will have TWO cartons of Malt Biscuits available. They are on back order!! :-p

Message from Elaine: Hello everyone, just letting you know that there is no chance of our boat going to sea searching for prawns before Xmas. we did try and it was horror weather and very little product to catch in Fraser Coast waters. We will be not working until at least the first week in January as there is yet another Government closure on we trawler folk from 23 Dec to 3 January - yes that is on top of the 9 weeks closed waters to our Frase...r Coast business since 20 Sept... In spite of this we still want to bring you fresh local seafood - because that is what we love to do!.. If you are looking for seafood in the next week or so,, check out the Queensland Catch page.. 08.01.2022 The majority of you know - it has been a really shitty few days but tonight I want to share. Keith and I are truly blessed. We were fortunate to secure accommodation for a week that allowed us to have Ziggy with us. We are fortunate to have such amazing friends/customers around us who have offered to help. I have a saying that there is always someone worse off than us BUT just gotta say - this situation knocked me for a six. Lol The awesome Ollie is having to share his home.../yard with Ziggy the Grumble Bum. Couldn't get a pic of them together but check out the amazing Ollie. <3 A huge thank you to Michael from Reassured Restorations for keeping us in the loop in regards to our house. :-) Gotta <3 living on the Fraser Coast. 06.01.2022 Just a reminder - Kiwi Shop and Pet Supplies is open from 8am - 5pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week leading in to Christmas. We are then taking a well deserved break and will be closed Friday 25 December through to Monday 28 December and will re open at 8am on Tuesday 29 December. A heads up for my Kiwi Customers - I will be placing another order tomorrow for Kiwi Groceries but there won't be another container arriving in Brisbane until the end of January so you might want to get in quick. Kina, Paua and some varieties of Ice Cream such as Orange Choc Chip are in limited supply and won't be restocked until Mid January. Thank you for your ongoing support. I think we will always be a work in progress. Lol <3

06.01.2022 7.45pm Thursday night. Keith is booked to go to Melbourne Thursday 24 December and will fly home Monday 28 December. I am so excited for him and I am also truly blessed knowing I have friends who will help us whilst he is away. Our Community Rocks!!

05.01.2022 Oopsa Daisy - just had a brain fart. :-p Just realised that even though I organised a few hampers for Christmas - Kiwi Shop and Pet Supplies did not actually donate. 04.01.2022 One step forward and three steps back today. A pipe burst in our house overnight and flooded my whole darn house. It is uninhabitable. :-( We were fortunate - we have a friend who has an Air BNB which we were able to book in to until next Wednesday with Ziggy. We are all safe and well but the same can not be said about our house. Devastated does not even come close to what I am feeling at the moment. ... Due to being so close to Christmas building works will not be done until late January at the earliest I believe but I am trying to focus on the positives. Next weekend we will be away so the damage could have been even worse. Please keep us in your thoughts and pop in tomorrow and make me laugh. I know there is always someone worse off but tonight I am feeling the pain. Stay safe everyone and I for one am thankful that we are all okay. <3 See more

The majority of you know I wear my heart on my sleeve BUT to see so many of you offering to help has brought me to tears. 01.01.2022 I don't very often post on our business page about where we have eaten but Enzo's definitely deserve a shout out today. OMG - Entree Char Grilled King Prawns. This dish was "The Bomb." I don't like prawns but this dish was amazing and I need the recipe. :-) Main - Eye Fillet Medium with fresh Veg. Again this dish was amazing. Veggies cooked to perfection.... Staff were friendly and attentive. We don't eat there very often but it is definitely on my list to go back to. Apologies - my photo skills are not very good. Did I mention the Prawns?? :-p
