14.01.2022 What a day! A full day spent in our backyard. We are getting so much closer now to laying our new turf. I can't wait!! I'm sick of the sight of dirt, dust and shovels and look forward to cleaning everything down once it's all done. Tonight I am recovering. I am treating myself to a Pimms and an early night. Out and about today delivering some jewellery and a stop by a couple of shops for various things. Hoping to visit a nursery today also to buy myself a new indoor plant to fill an empty pot that I have been given. Don't forget to check out the newbies which have been added to my online store. 14.01.2022 ~~ OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH ~~ Did you know? In 2020, it is estimated that 19,974 new cases of breast cancer will be diagnosed in Australia (167 males and 19,807 females). KJazzled Jewellery is doing our part to help raise awareness.... Our good friend Justin at Firebrand Queensland has heaps of our beautiful "Go pink for breast cancer" jewellery at his local Toowoomba store (located in Clifford Gardens). Each piece of jewellery that is sold from Justin's shop contributes to donations to a local charity that is doing amazing things all for the sake of breast cancer. 14.01.2022 Hooray for a long weekend Housework and grocery shop for the weekend has all been taken care of, all that's left to do now is enjoy some time away from work. It's been a crazy old week with work getting ridiculously busy in the healthcare section where I work so it's nice to be able to relax a little. Our jewellery at Firebrand Queensland has been restocked today with so many pretty and sparkling things. 02.01.2022 It's a windy Saturday morning here on our hill, perfect for being indoors today. A trip into town this morning to shop for a couple of little things and to get the pool water checked, then it's home for some studio time. 01.01.2022 Yippee...a little excited to see Friday! An early finish today followed by a drive out to my family's farm for a quick visit to dad to borrow the rotary hoe. Our pop up sprinkler system is well and truly underway after spending the good part of last weekend working on it. This weekend will be spent prepping another area in our yard for new turf, which we hope to lay very soon. With such a big backyard our sprinkler system will certainly make life so much easier.
