25.01.2022 Could all my followers please give Star Club Equestrian Program‘s page (link below) a Like and/or a share. I am involved with this association as a Rider with an Intellectual Disability. Star Club are currently seeking sponsorship to develop the program further, create new opportunities for Riders, create competition pathways and bring about awareness of Riders with an Intellectual Disability (Autism, ADHD, mild-severe ID, Global Development Delay etc), Acquired Br...ain Injury (through stroke, trauma, cerebrovascular events etc) and Cognitive/Behavioural impairments. There is no SO equestrian program in NSW and no PE classification/grade for this group of Riders in Australia. Star Club Equestrian Program Inc is specifically for these Riders whether beginners or experienced, aged 5-55. Please Support Star Club Equestrian Program Inc as it is a very important organisation for us Riders with an ID. Thank you. https://www.facebook.com/StarClubEquestrian/
24.01.2022 Fun day out yesterday at Singleton Dressage Club. Lots of top riders out and about with some beautiful horses. Dior and I rode in our third comp together (second in prelim 1a and first time in 1b) and received scores of 65 and 61.608. Dior was much more relaxed than last time so it was definitely a great day. Thank you Andrea, my coach, Singleton Dressage Club, Maureen and Robert, mum and dad, and my calming goat Doggit. Looking forward to scone next week. #BearViewWarmbloods #BearViewDior

22.01.2022 After all BearView Dior’s, mine and Andrea’s hard work, at Upper Hunter Dressage Association Inc yesterday Dior received lovely paces, regular paces, active and steady rhythm in our (Open) Prep E and (Open) Prelim 1B. With 8s and 7s we scored 68.42% and third place in Prep E in open competition - Dior’s PB! Thank you UHDA for a great day - such a lovely, friendly, welcoming club; Andrew for coming out to cheer me on, the little calming goat Doggit, mum and dad, Andrea - my fantastic coach, and Dior for trying her very best yesterday. Congratulations also to my team mates - Sandra on Harry and Kevin on Nat, and Kellie our team photographer. We always have a great day together and thats what its all about.

17.01.2022 The best day ever would have to be yesterday when I was lucky enough to spend the day with Brett & Melinda Parbery and Madeline Leeden at NSW State Dressage in Tamwoth. I got to hang with Brett all day (mum had to drag me out of the Parbery Performance truck at 545 after arriving at 9!), watching the team compete, helping load the truck, working in the stables, groom, being involved with warm ups and being introduced to some other great riders as well. It was so good!!... Mum, of course, Star Clubbed Brett but he Willinga Parked me (see photo of our hats). Ha ha ha A very big thank you to Brett, Melinda and Maddie for having me all day from me, mum and dad. We know what an amazing opportunity you gave me, and your kindness, laughter, fun and knowledge that you let me share yesterday was incredible. A big thank you too to Nell who supports us riders so very much. We are lucky to have so many people around us that support us. As you said Brett, I definitely won’t give up on my goal to be a grand prix rider like you.
14.01.2022 For the first time I entered a comp at Tamworth Dressage Club and what a fantastic time we all had. It was held at Australian Equine and Livestock Events Centre over three days. I took two horses : BearView Dior and, of course, Andy (Let’s Jazz It Up). Up until about six weeks ago Dior was a broodmare and on Sunday we competed in Prep A and C. She was amazing! In both tests we came 2nd in the RDA Division with a 66.576% in A ( =10th across the divisions out of 20 ri...ders) and 57.250% in C (=15th across the divisions out of 20 riders). I am so proud of Dior as these were her very first dressage tests. Then Andy and I competed in Prelim 1A and 1C. He was incredible! In both tests we came 1st in the RDA Division with 64.600% in 1A (5th ! Yes 5th! across the divisions out of 19 riders) and 60.894% in 1C (12th across the divisions out of 20 riders). I am so proud of Andy and we are now going to start competing in Novice! A very big thank you to my Coach, Andrea Bank, who has made Dior into a competitive dressage horse, Andy into a completely different horse and me into a rider that is learning and improving every time I ride and compete. We would not have got these results without Andrea and we are incredibly lucky. Brett , Jack, Janelle and Graham all give me so much help and support also. Thank you to Fraser for coming and helping me, my horses, mum and dad. Thank you Craig for looking after the Zoo while we were away. Thank you In-Sync Halters & Accessories for your support as well as Star Club Equestrian Program Inc who I represented. Tamworth Deessage Club thank you for being so lovely and welcoming (especially Marjolyn) and to AELEC for the lovely facilities and arenas. A BIG thank you to my mum and dad (Stew) too who always groom, coach, run around, support and love me, Dior and Andy. Mum asked me what my peak was and I said seeing my friends : congratulations to Samantha, Sarah, Emma, Nikkita, Kelly, Jude and Peta, and everyone who competed and supported us all! Oh and, Lorry, thank you for keeping us cosy. Cant wait until our next comp!
14.01.2022 Merry Christmas
12.01.2022 I should have posted this last Sunday.! What a great weekend with Joey, Lew, Dylan and the Star Clubbers at Tamworth Dressage Club. Thank you to everyone for making it such a great weekend! Dior and I came away with a 2nd, 3rd and 5th in the RDA Section of Prelim 1A (Dior’s first prelim) and Prep C and A. Congratulations to all the Star Clubbers on their results and thank you to TDC for running an RDA Section for us. https://www.facebook.com/139391463264435/posts/820107355192839/

09.01.2022 Lest We Forget.
08.01.2022 After three years in a paddock (she had a foal, B. Wie Woo aka Parker) and evacuated from our farm due to fire threats, I decided to start riding Dior. I have been riding her since December but this was her first lesson with me (ever). It was her first trip in our new horse truck (Lorry), it was raining (cant complain as it never rains anymore) and she had never been to Fordwich Farm before but Dior was a little superstar. I was so proud of her in her lesson with me and Andrea. I have entered her in Tamworth Dressage Club’s Twilight Comp in February in Prep A and C just for fun (as well as Andy in my last Prelim before we start learning our Novice tests). Look out 2020, here comes BearView Dior.!
04.01.2022 Great way to support Star Club, save some $$ and look after our equine friends.
03.01.2022 Dior and I at Star Club Equestrian Program Inc. Next comp for Dior is Tamworth.
02.01.2022 Thank you to my coach, Andrea
01.01.2022 Andy and I at our lesson yesterday. Thank you Andrea for another great lesson.
01.01.2022 Personal Best for Andy and I at Singleton Dressage Champs yesterday with a 68.036% in 1C! In fact, its a massive 10% improvement from my last 1C and I have my Coach, Andrea, Fordwich Farm to thank. I received lots of 7s, 7.5s and even an 8 for one of the serpentines, and the comments from the judge were so good - best comments we have ever had! In 1A we made an error but still managed a 63.80% with more lovely comments and lots of 7s. It was such a fun day with mum, dad,... Graham, Janelle, Sandra, Andrea, Baby Jack and Rosie. Thank you Andrea for coming back to help me and Sandra in our tests (and big congratulations to Andrea who won Unofficial Novice Champ on Bakira. I am very proud of my Coach). Graham amd Janelle were a huge help to us - Andy’s tail has never looked so good! Graham even showed mum a very clever way to do Andy’s plaits and she really enjoyed learning all the tips and tricks. Congrats to Sandra who had her first comp being coached by Andrea, and her and Harry have never looked so relaxed and happy at a comp. i better watch out though as Sandra and Harry were only one or two places behind me...better keep training with Andrea. As mum and dad (Stew) said, we are very fortunate to have Andrea and Brett, Graham and Janelle, and our friends and family, who give so much support to our family.
