23.01.2022 The 2 year olds are back! very excited to continue working with these two boys after they've had a few months off after their breaking in prep. Watch this space for more photos and updates on their progress.

11.01.2022 Holly went home to her owner Angela yesterday. She was sent to me to sort out some issues she was having under saddle. She came to me sour, unhappy about her work, super heavy on the bridle and very unwilling to go forward to the point of bucking every time she was asked to canter. She lacked a lot of confidence in her rider, was unbalanced and confused about what was being asked of her. Happy to say after 4 weeks with me there has been major improvements with Holly. She wil...l be advertised FOR SALE in the coming weeks and she is now ready to go on to a new competition home and will continue to improve in leaps and bounds with time and patience. Thank you Angela for entrusting me with your precious girl. You have both been through a lot and it has been very rewarding to see such postive results. If you have a horse with any issues that you feel youre like youre banging your head against a wall feel free to give me a call and we can discuss your situation. I am currently taking positions for early 2018.

10.01.2022 Well after a 6 week refresher course the boys are ready to go out for a spell. Theyve had 3 gallops on the Horsham race course and been through the barriers, taking it all in their stride. Cannot thank Cherie enough for being my clone and riding blinky for me, while I rode Louie. Was great to work them both together. Theyll be on holidays until the autumn now and when they come back theyll be ready to pick up where theyve left off.

07.01.2022 Now that breeding season is in full swing its a timely reminder to handle your foals. Doesnt need to be extensive handling but it is vital that the foal can be caught, held and comfortable enough with people that if anything were to go wrong they can be treated. This filly is a clients horse and a perfect example of what can go wrong. She was born grand final day (aptly name Dusty for that reason) and I have caught and handled her every day. Just catch, pat and release. Not...hing more than a few minutes each day. But after she was caught in a fence the other night and I was there on my own this handling proved vital. I was able to catch her, put a halter on her for the first time, wash the wound and treat it all on my own. If she were unhandled there would be no way I could have done that. So rememeber everyone, pat your babies! Its much easier to handled them now than when they are weaned and 200kgs heavier and makes things much easier for those professionals to work with down the track See more

03.01.2022 Another happy client

01.01.2022 Well first lot of breakers are out for a spell after their 6 week break in prep. They are 2 year old thoroughbred geldings that I have worked with since they were foals and Im really happy with how well theyve taken everything in their stride. They will be coming back to me in a couple of months for pre training.
