24.01.2022 Today's PB happened because I used a plan and a tool. Had on my GPS watch and set up the pace I needed to achieve my goal. Ended up smashing that goal but wouldn't have been able to do it without a PLAN.

16.01.2022 One of the really cool things about being consistent with your training and nutrition is that when you decide that you want to change things, move "the furniture", you can. Without needing to tee-up extra hands to help you. Being productive on a public holiday!!!

12.01.2022 FOF... Fear of Failure. Biggest reason why people give up before they even start. What if I get it wrong? What if I make a mistake? What if I don't understand? Hang on a minute..... What if I get it Right? What if I'm correct? What if I do understand? So many times I've walked away and missed out because of FOF. Wasted $$ and time. In truth the only time one fails is when one gives up before even having a go. It's taken me two weeks to complete a 4 hr online course because I was too afraid to ring up and give the verbal answers to the last 5 questions.... 2 weeks for something that only took 2 minutes to complete. What are you avoiding because of FOF??



11.01.2022 Refueling after Heads or Tails I.C.E session. First Intense Cardio Exercise since Jan! I'm glad I know what to eat and when to eat to maximize results and recovery and minimize fatigue.

05.01.2022 Sometimes you have to really dig through old photos to see how far you've come. Sometimes I wonder how those twigs didn't snap in 1/2... I was 23 in '95 and all I wanted was to be as tiny as Monica in Friends - never going to happen. 44 in 2017... feeling stronger than I ever have. Guns, it's all about the guns. Skinny is out, strong is in. Aim to be lean without losing muscle - muscle keeps us chicks rockin'



02.01.2022 Happy New Year to me!! Knocked 14sec off my Park Run pb. There's life still left in these old legs. Getting closer to my 5km pb of 20.05. Last week I finished and reflected on how there was no self-talk required to keep me moving and knew I could go faster. This week there was a heated debate going on from the first 500m right to the finish. Somehow I think white line fever will continue on right up to that pine box...
