03.01.2022 So it seems that Victoria & NSW aren't communicating regarding rules for fishing on the Murray River. Perhaps it'll be cheaper to stick with fishing in our Victorian lakes until they actually communicate with each other & let us know what they decide!

03.01.2022 To keep everyone safe and help slow the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Stage 4 restrictions for metropolitan Melbourne are now in place. All forms of recreat...ional fishing and boating are now prohibited and all boat ramps, piers, jetties in metropolitan Melbourne are closed. Stage 3 Stay at Home Restrictions came into effect for Regional Victoria from 11.59pm on Wednesday 5 August, including Mitchell Shire. In regional Victoria, recreational activities such as fishing and boating will be allowed under Stage 3 Stay at Home Restrictions and boat ramps and jetties will remain open. These activities can only be undertaken at the closest point to your home, with household members or one other person. A distance of 1.5m must be maintained between participants. Everyone must wear a face covering when they leave home, unless an exception applies. If you're feeling unwell, get tested and stay home.
