19.01.2022 Finally a chance to take a break from photographing boats and get back to my first love.......creating newborn art! A divine creature called Mackenzie came to the studio yesterday and she was simply exquisite!

18.01.2022 Today I got to try out studio lighting at Rising Sun Studio in Newport with Adrian Koch and Jenn Cooper from Canon Collective We photographed the gorgeous Lily and her mummy Bianca and beautiful Indie and her mummy Bel. Such perfectly behaved babies......both of them :-)

13.01.2022 The Boat Show competition winner is announced... Andrea Francolini and James Ostinga named Karen's image the winner and Andrea described the shot perfectly, say...ing: "This image struck me because of the water pattern. I love rain on water. Then I saw that the 2 kids were in the water. I laughed because being a yachting photographer my rule is always: have a boat between you and the water and you will have a good day." Andrea went on to say: "The fact that the kids are still having a ball makes the images very amusing. They just don’t care. Great spirit in this image, love the texture of the water. Editing could be improved but the important part is to capture the image. Then you can go home and work on it. Well done on quick thinking because pulling out your camera in those conditions is not an easy task and it is very risky." See more
