25.01.2022 Today’s cooking class made honey mustard chicken and pasta then for dessert they made marshmallow lamington balls in preparation for Australia Day!

25.01.2022 Straight back into it today after the long weekend. Simone taught our games class how to play the game of life and the lego crew got stuck into their projects!

24.01.2022 We had so much fun in the kitchen this morning for the cooking class. They made chicken chow mein and Nutella mousse - Blake couldn’t wait for the mousse to set and had to have a taste.



23.01.2022 Busy busy in the kitchen this morning making a beautiful fresh salad, creamy chicken meatball pasta and chocolate biscuits!

23.01.2022 Friendship circle had a very challenging activity, that aimed to have everyone work as a team! Both teams were given 20 spaghetti sticks, tape and a ball and the goal was to build the highest tower and balance a ball on top. Very challenging but very fun!

22.01.2022 Bite club was amazing last night! We did something a bit different and headed down to the strand for fish and chips, pizza and ice cream! We had to make a pitstop at the waterfall for the group shot

21.01.2022 Fridays craft class has outdone themselves, they did candle decorating. Pictures were embedded into the candles and then they were decorated. Absolutely stunning!

19.01.2022 Today’s cooking class was hard at work making a creamy potato bake - it smelled amazing through the centre. They also made a delicious peanut brittle made into very sweet gift packages. Great work guys!

15.01.2022 There was a very cute interruption in this afternoons lego class! Everyone is so excited that one of our baby birds are ready to come out and be handled. We are hand feeding the babies and teaching everyone at the centre about safety and how to take care of the birds.

14.01.2022 The team at 123 Ingham road want to thank McGrath Townsville for the donation through their Community Giveback Program. In case anyone doesn’t know McGrath have a Community Give Back program in which each time they sell a house the client chooses an organisation to receive a $250 donation. So a big thank you to McGrath and the mystery person who donated to Kith and Kin!... This is the second time we have received this generous donation and this time Kelly went along with Blake and his Support Worker Sylvia. Thank you to everyone!

13.01.2022 Today’s cooking class made pizzas and then we stayed with the Easter theme and made humming bird nest cakes. Look at the proud bunnies!

12.01.2022 We had a very special guest at 123 Ingham Road today - the Easter Bunny stopped by to give us all eggs and judge the Easter biscuit decorating competition. While we waited for the Easter bunny we had egg and spoon races and pin the tail on the bunny.

06.01.2022 Yesterdays gardening group worked so hard they needed a nice refreshing drink to finish up the activity. So they made a punch that had mint from the garden in it and it was the perfect way to finish up
