25.01.2022 We had a very cute unique visitor today at KK’s Holistic Vet. This is a story of a Joey named Valdora. This 8 month old Joey has had a long term gastro problem. He has been having diarhoea , gridding his teeth all the time and would only drink milk rather than coming out from his pouch to eat grass like other 8 month old Joeys for the last 5 months. Here he is standing next to Dr.KK and getting himself checked out for his second acupuncture treatment. ... He stopped grinding teeth for a few days after the first acupuncture treatment then completely stopped after second acupuncture treatment ( So no more Tummy pain!). He has been taking his herbs with his milk and poo is nice and solid now. By 4th acupuncture treatment he is one happy camper with better energy, good poo and a much healthier hair coat so it was time to say goodbye! Dr.KK also enjoyed treating you Valdora. Keep smiling boy and make sure to get back to the wild with one happy tummy! One happy Joey!

24.01.2022 Weve never had a fluffy like Elsee :) After having needles on her acupuncture channels...She decided to hop on our bench and help herself to a snooze on our donut cushion!!! Oh dear, how to get her down.... at least she seems very content. It will be a long journey but we will get you on the right track!!!... NOTE: Eleese has an on going skin issue since she was puppy. She sleeps all the time and her energy level is ZERO due to horrible skin condition. We will keep you posted ;)

21.01.2022 Do you have someone demanding in your life? To be fair, he has been patiently waiting after giving Dr.KK big cuddles and kisses. Happy Youngster Raphael has been treated with acupuncture and herbs to detox his body since he returned from America. He had to have multiple vaccinations and worm tablets then his eye started to get weepy and licking his bottom.... Dr.KK diagnosed Liver Heat resulting in food therapy, herbs and acupuncture treatment! He is much happier boy now Keep smiling Boy!

19.01.2022 If you know anyone who has a fluffy with sore legs it maybe worth sharing this story :) She has been sore especially with her back and legs. Her legs are spreading when she walks, especially on slippy floors. Today she had her first electro-acupunctrue treatment with us. After one treatment , she could stand better and started moving like much younger dog again! Her mum and dad are very pleased and she thinks she is 5 years old again!!! ... Here she is ...she is smiling much better and enjoying the treats after the second electro- acupuncture treatment! NOTE: Did you know that Electro-Acupuncture stimulates the brain to produce Dynorphin (Pain relief hormone) which is 10 times stronger than Morphine? Dynorpine does not make our fluffy have withdrawals either :)

19.01.2022 How did you hear about Dr. KK? Charlies mum heard about Dr. KK on one of her beach walks. After informing a nice gentleman that Charlie has been suffering from very bad arthritis and low energy he reccommended us. Charlies mum was skeptical about it but tried this new treatment anyway as she wanted her to have a better life with less pain. ... We received a email from her mum last week. The changes are amazing KK, Thank you so much for helping Charlie. Even my husband noticed a change straight after the treatment! 19.01.2022 This is Louie 14yr olds story. One afternoon at 2pm Louie had an episode where he suddenly went stiff and collapsed which lasted 30 seconds. But then he recovered and seemed back to normal. Another day he had a second collapsing episode which also lasted 30 seconds and again, seemed to recover well. It was not like seizure and prior to each episode he was coughing. Additionally, the last few months he has been frequently doing this strange licking action along with a fun...ny facial chattering behaviour. Blood test and X-ray were taken but not able to determine what was wrong with Louie. Louies dad was told that the next step is to proceed with a Cardiac ultrasound, CT Scan, and all other tests to diagnose his condition. However, this might not show what is wrong with him. That is the moment when Louie Aunty Kellie decided to take him to Dr.KK Holistic Vet. Dr.KK took her time to go through his history and to examine Louie. We diagnosed Louies condition as "Internal Wind" caused by possible Head Stasis or stagnation. After his first session, he was very lethargic, slept all afternoon and was unsteady on his feet. Then, every 24hours, he got better and better . Luckily Louies aunty knew fluffies can feel "Tired" after acupuncture treatment and just needed to take time for the body to absorb the effect She did not panic with this "lethargic" state. He was stronger on his feet and no more coughing and the facial chattering is much less. As you can see in the photo, he is much happier and back to his normal himself. We still continue his herbal medicine for a few more weeks but we are all safe now! Hes adorable isnt he ? Keep smiling and enjoy your golden era Louie and family

18.01.2022 What a journey . Some of you may know this Beautiful girl called Yumi. She was about 10 years old (rescued dog) when Dr.KK met her...for me personally its such a memorable journey when I look back. ... Yumi was not able to walk using all four limbs without limping. She had all the help from Western Medicine including multiple pain medications, joint injections, physiotherapy for a while but it stopped working for her. The owner was told that euthanasia is the next option . However Yumis neighbour (Kodas parents) told her mum about TCVM treatment . She started having new food, tuna massage, acupuncture treatments and special herbal medicines..... We put a smile on her face as you can see. She had much happier life for a long time then one day her time came. We miss you Yumi and your gorgeous smile. Hope you are still running and enjoying your fluffy angel life up there.

17.01.2022 Dr.KK was devastated to hear news from Pollys mum. She is a big teddy but still very young puppy girl at heart She has been diagnosed with lymphoma and now treating her with TCVM treatment. Please send her lots of positive energy to her way! We can do this together Polly!!! XX

She has Cushing disease, sore back and leg....and now her kidney is not happy. But guess what? She has been following our advice very well and is looking much better especially the last few visits. 15.01.2022 I would like to share a special story with you..... Miss Bella had her front leg amputated from Osteosarcoma when she was just 5-6 years old. Told that she wouldnt live long due to her disease and her breed she decided to meet Dr.KK almost straight after the amputation. Bella started her TCVM treatment and had a further 6 plus years of happiness with her favourite parents and her fluffy friend Rosa. ... Sadly, she went over to fluffy heaven last week due to her leg issue (Not cancer!). She was tired and not able to walk much and thats when her parents decided to let her go. Bella , you are such a beautiful soul and strong fighter. You showed all the other cancer fluffy patients they can do it!!!! Osteosarcoma (Bone cancer ) is such a nasty cancer but she had a happy long life regardless . Well never forget you....RIP Bella the beautiful 12 year old Boxer

14.01.2022 Learn how Kidney Failure forced 17 Year Old Bandit down a tough road. I mean ROUGH and TOUGH. His regular vets and Emergency vet told his mum and dad to let him go several times due to the degree of his kidney failure. However this little fighter did not want to give up. September 2019 he was diagnose with grade 3 Chronic Renal Failure (Kidney failure) and was at deaths door. He had to go to an emergency centre to get IV fluid to flush toxins from his little body as his ...kidneys were not functioning so well. His parents heard about TCVM treatment and brought Bandits to Dr.KK after he was discharged from the hospital. Dr.KK gave his first acupuncture treatment which he was not too sure about! KK Holistic Vet also made Bandit both his special kidney herbal formula and special middle Jiao formula to help Qi to move - (meaning to increase his energy (fighting) level as there was congestion) He picked up after the initial treatment and continued to live much happier . There were a few near miss death events with his kidney failing and even Dr.KK thought that he may not be able to do it...but he still demanded treats from Dr.KK. NOTE: Bandit peacefully went over the Rainbow Bridge on 27th Feb.

14.01.2022 Bandit was brought to Dr.KK accompane by his dad. He has not been well. He can no longer jump on his dads ute for many months..... and he is only 6year old. It does not seems anything wrong with his otherwise. Grumpy Reggies (remember the handsome cattle dog boy from our post?) parents told Bandits parents about TCVM tretament and here he is. Beside Bandits mums worries, he took his first tretament very well with the typical Zen style!! The video was provided from his ...dad to show how STRESSFUL his first visit was. 12.01.2022 Sometimes I have to pinch myself when my father asks for my advice ;) My father would have never asked such question if I had not had become TCVM practitioner. The photo on the left is my fathers hand, it looks like bethadine or another dye doesnt it? I promise its not The photo on the Right: hand map for possibly health condition - very interesting indeed. Hmmmm if my dad was a fluffy which formula would I like my dad to take!!?? ... NOTE: Good news! it disappeared after he stopped taking a medicine his Dr. had prescribed in Japan.

12.01.2022 Do you know a cat like Hugo? 10 year old Hugo has been constipated for he last at least 7 days! He apparently ate some wool rug as well as his usual kibbles. His mum didn't want Hugo to go under anaesthetic to remove poo or any other procedure. So here he is been so constipated and presented at Dr.KK's who investigated his pattern of disease.... He had some dandruff a red tongue and scratching ears a bit (Not infected)...and a little chubby ! In TCVM terms, he was diagnosed with Phlegm with Qi and Yin deficiency. We started Acupuncture Treatment and Food Therapy. We received a very happy email !!!!! "Great news! Please let KK know Hugo did a bowel movement already! Much thanks to Dr. KK for her magic and care. Warmly, Hugo's Mum" It will take a bit longer to treat his Yin deficiency to get his bowel movement regular but we can get this ! Lets smile together Hugo :-) P.S Oh did you say what happened to scathing ears part? He was getting Shen disturbance hence scratching ear but after the first acupuncture treatment, he is so much better already!

11.01.2022 Binky (nearly 15 years old!) is having her acupuncture treatment today. She was not eating and hasn't herself for a while now, especially after she lost her fluffy friend. Her heart is so fragile and not functioning well and on western medicine as well. ... In TCVM Terms, She has Qi deficiency with middle Jiao congestion. We started Binky on two of KK’s Special Individualised Herbal Formulas to get her back on the right path She is so much happier and eating all the treats Dr.KK offered on this day. Her nose is wetter, hair coat shinier , poo and energy levels are much better. Look at her cheeky face demanding more treats! That's the way Binky:-) Let’s smile and get that tail wagging!

11.01.2022 Please share our story if you know any fluffy with a similar condition to our Mellie. Abandoned from the racing industry with an unknown history, Mellie, as you can see is the sweetest soul Mellie never liked or trusted a vet but came straight to KK for a chat, even sat on our doggy bed ready for a treatment. Her owner could not believe it Her regular vet found two lesions (lump like) in her Spleen with an ultrasound but disappeared after just over one month treatment of... TCVM Her symptoms were lots pain and very sad looking, had a very bad digestive system as well - loose poo and gargling tummy all the time. By investigating other signs for the pattern of disease Dr. KK diagnosed Severe Local Qi and Blood Stagnation with Kidney deficiency and Damp with Spleen Qi deficiency. We first gave her Acupuncture (first one to remove pain, second one to help pain and gut system) , then herbal medicine (to help both pain and gut system), Food therapy (to prevent the above condition ) and Tuina Massage. Her energy levels increased, thankfully no more pain and a much better digestive system as well You deserve to have a much happier fluffy life Mellie!

07.01.2022 Old Cattle dog Oscar came to is panting and unable to settle and it was especially worse at night It it his time? He had regular vet check his blood test. The blood showed various changes in his Kidney and Liver. Also his regular vet detected his weak heart and they started him on heart medication but he was still struggling and could not stop being very uncomfortable. ... His owner was considering to let him go but wanted to see if TCVM can help this boy I never forget, the owner almost carried him to Dr.KK on the day. He was severely panting with heavy breathing effort with DARK Red tongue with deep lines. In TCVM terms, Dr. KK diagnosed Shen Disturbance with Severe Yin and Qi deficiency. We started him on very strong Yin and Qi herbs and Acupuncture treatment to instantly remove heat and his balance body. He was still struggling straight after the treatment but went home and slept very soundly. It has been way over one month since the treatment. Let's us stay with you for a bit longer Oscar :-)

07.01.2022 Whos bottom is that?!! Can only be Zero! He is an old staffy who does not have much energy and a blocked nose (suspected cancer in the nose) . His mum decided treat his condition with TCVM to increase his quality of life to the max. He is taking herbs no problem (what a good boy!) and had his first acupuncture treatment very well as you can see. ... Mum told us that you are much happier since the treatment. Keep smiling Zero! 06.01.2022 What a happy visitor we had today ? Benny Boy, here for his third acupuncture treatment for his idiopathic Liver enzyme elevation. He has been on a special dry food , Denosyl (Liver supplements ) for a long time (over one year!) but nothing is helping despite ALP (Liver enzyme ) is over 2400 and the machine cannot even read it !!!... So hes here to get help from TCVM treatment at Dr.KK. His smile says it all........His ALT is now less than 1000 and Dr.KK is sure this will continue to decrease with Food therapy, special Liver herb and acupuncture treatment. (His parents admitted that Acupressure massage is not happening so much at home- no worries Dr.KK can work harder instead! Lol) Keep smiling Benny Boy! 06.01.2022 I used to hate getting these questions when I started out as a vet "My fluffy keeps waking up at 3am. Why? "My fluffy started to lick the floor or air. Why?" "My fluffy is not settle at night - keeps moving around. Why?"... "My fluffy cannot stop following me. Why?!!" "My fluffy keeps getting lumps and bumps. Why?" "My fluffys nose is dry even after putting moisture cream on. Why?" After becoming a qualified TCVM Pracitioner I can answer all these questions! There is always a reason to a behavior a fluffy shows and finding the pattern of disease is key Happy weekend to you all!!

02.01.2022 Has your fluffy struggled to exercise lately? Been feeling miserable? Well thats the story of this beautiful girl, Essi. She came in for her second treatment. As you can see, she was not so sure why her dad was taking photos during her second session. Yep! You are going to be KKs Hollywoof star from today. Essi was diagnosed with cruciate injury and Her regular vet recommended a knee operation but her parents wanted to seek other treatment options ... She is much happier with no sign of pain since we stated treating her with TCVM treatment! Her dad is awesome, cooks her new food , giving her tuina massage and she is taking her herbs very well. She is a winner for sure! Keep smiling Essi! We are on the right track!

01.01.2022 If you know anyone with a fluffy that coughs like Louie, it might be worth sharing this story to help them out. "Ok let me sniff first, check if its poison KK" Louie came in April last year for his coughing issue.... Cough is usually dry and got worse after eating and drinking. On top of that Louie prefers warm places in sunlight and sleeps loads. Dr.KK treated him with acupuncture treatment, discussed food therapy and Tuina Massage. (Acupressure massage ) So, what happened next? Dr.KK was wondering how Louie was going as we have not heard anything from Louies mum since then. Its been over one year..... He came back for a check up today.......!!!!! Apparently he has been doing very good without any cough and is much happier (energetic ) since the first treatment. He has been enjoying herbs, new food and his golden era! Keep smiling Louie! Dr.KK is so pleased to know that you have been well.
